This air conditioner cools great! It's louder than I prefer. Ither than that, it's a good product to buy.

I have a large bedroom and the unite cools it good put it onenergy saver and it kicks on and off like it shpuld

Last minute purchase for my daughter away at college. Reviews were positive and I had 3 days before her move in. Unfortunately I had no notice that she needed an AC window unit. Best buy had this way on the floor with great reviews and a very competitive price. Installation was quick and unit has been a great for her.

I've had this unit for a couple years now and have no complaints. It does a great job of keeping the entire 1st floor comfortable. Typical window unit issues like noise and even when correctly installed on an angle water gathering in rear. But that kinda goes with territory, all in all great unit.

I have a 10 x 22 area that needed a new window unit, and this one does a perfect job of cooling it down!! On energy saver it cycles, plus I love the temp on the remote setting so I can keep the remote on the opposite end of the room, and when the whole room is cool enough, the ac cycles down for a break!

Nice a/c keeps my room nice and cool room is approx. 23ft by 13ft and doesn't run all the time.

This AC may not be the best but it actually works well in a small apartment. Keeps the room temperature cool/cold when set to the lowest temperature during the summer. It's useful and affordable for people who have an apartment without AC.

Replaced a 6k and 10k with 2 of these 8k units and they work good. Not thrilled that when you turn them on they go to eco mode, I'd rather they go to cool which is what they were when turned off. 239 is a fair price and best buy was competitively priced with other local stores.

This Frigidaire 8000 BTU window air conditioner meets our needs perfectly. It fits in the window without any support braces. I like having the remote control when I'm across the room and too lazy to get up to make any changes. It cools the space wonderfully well. Highly recommend this a/c.

The unit was really too small for desired room. Went 10000btu unit and it works great.

This window air conditioner kept a large room very cool and comfortable even on its lowest setting. Low noise and not noticeable at all. Installation was not difficult and not too heavy to lift. I will soon be getting another one for another room.

Would have died of heat stroke without this ac... Loved it so much I bought a second one

Bought this unit for chilling a room to cool produce at my retail stand. It works exceptionally well and I like the remote control feature that allows the unit to cool to a temperature away from the mounting area.

These air conditioning units are amazing! It has a multitude of features designed to keep the air quality in the room clean and crisp while cooling or in fan mode. Easy installation. And it barely pulls electricity. When home I had 2 units running constantly. One 12,000 BTU the other 8,000 BTU, and my Electric Bill was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend these units to anyone!

I purchased two of these for my bedroom and family room. My bedroom is 14x12 and it does a great job at cooling the entire room. I was pleasantly surprised that this unit isn't too loud with the compressor running. The family room is 20x18 and this unit has no problem cooling it. It even cools off the kitchen which is great. There is an eco mode which turns off the unit when it cools the room to the set temperature. Every few minutes the fan would turn on for a couple seconds and then shut off. I figure this is how it measures the air temperature to know when it needs to turn back on.

Bought this AC unit based on reviews. It was a little noisier then expected at first but after running it a while it runs quieter. Planning to get another one to replace older unit in an up stairs bedroom. Easy to operate and keeps to temperature

I have a 10 x 22 room this keeps perfectly cooled in the Arizona high desert!! I love the temp readout on the remote, and the ability to put it on the opposite end of the room, and set the unit to cycle on and off, based on the temperature at the remote!!

This 8000btu air conditioner is amazing. It cools down the first room very quickly. My apartment is square so the cool air circulates the other rooms within a few hours. I LOVE the remote control. And the sleep mode is great. Plus, I got a great deal! Love it

My central AC broke so I ran out to Best buy to purchase a small unit for the bedroom. It's a nice little AC. Easy to install and maintains a steady temp. Only negative it's a little loud sometimes can hear the compressor kick on and off.

This unit does what is supposed to and keeps my bedroom nice and cool. My only qualms are that you can't make the unit run continuously instead of on energy saver from the remote and the unit is pretty loud. Other than that it does it's job well.
