THE DRAINING HOSE IS BIG ENOUGH TO FIT GARDEN HOSE. SOME OTHER UNITS I OWN PREVIOUSLY HAD SUCH A SMALL HOSE AND WATER CANNOT DRAIN PROPERLY.

EC error code and frosty coils one month out of warranty... and Frigidaire will not stand by their product. I'll try to NEVER purchase another Frigidaire product if I can help it. Stay away: Persistent, unfixable error code after

I'm having the same issue that a number of other reviews (here and elsewhere) have reported: unit shows an error code (EC) after running for a few hours. I can unplug it to reset it, and it will run again for a few hours. But then it happens all over again. It's operating in corrected temps with proper clearances, etc. The goal was to have a unit that would run continuously, if necessary, to dehumidify my basement (in the summer, especially). This unit no longer does that-- I have to unplug it to reset now a few times/day. Think of whatever you might pay for this as a rental. Maybe you'll luck out and get more than a year or so (seems to be the common time horizon for this failure) but otherwise you'll be back in the market again next year. I won't buy Frigidaire next time.
