Really like this a/c. It's quiet and keeps accurate coolness. The only thing I am not pleased about is the installation. This a/c had 4 sharp screws protruding from the bottom. It wasn't obvious before installation that 3 of these screws would create so much damage. They chewed up my lower wooden windowsill. There's a deep gouge where 2 of the screws stuck out more, and a smaller gouge where a 3rd screw stuck out. I would be very careful installing this. You may want to drill off or cut off the sharp tips. I own 3 more of their a/c's and I have not had this problem before. I may be calling them to tell them this is a serious design flaw. My husband drilled of the sharp tips and we covered them with electrical tape, but that won't fix the gash that's already in my sill. This is a heavy unit. I think they should have offered a chassis like the 15K unit I have, that would ease the installation. I am giving this 4 stars because of the flaw. Otherwise I am happy with the operation of the unit.

My air unit went out and was going to be a week before it was going to be fixed so I bought this window unit to help until. Well I got my ac unit fixed and used this window unit instead because it worked so good. It cooled my living room kitchen and hallway great. It wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be after reading other reviews but I am satisfied with it and I’ll use it next summer also

this is a great a/c unit was easy to install with all the supplied hardware, cools the room quickly but is a little loud for bedroom use. if you like the low hum of a compressor to sleep to then this will be a great unit for you. Would have given 5 stars if not for the noise.

These air conditioning units are amazing! It has a multitude of features designed to keep the air quality in the room clean and crisp while cooling or in fan mode. Easy installation. And it barely pulls electricity. When home I had 2 units running constantly. One 12,000 BTU the other 8,000 BTU, and my Electric Bill was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend these units to anyone!

I am pleased with this air conditioner. The unit cools well and the remote control is easy to use. However, because I have a bad back I used Best Buy to install. That was a mistake! They are truck delivery people not installers. The first unit was physically damaged and they installed it anyway. I called and they pulled the 1st and installed the 2nd unit which they did not even turn on. It did not cool at all. They had to come out pull the 2nd unit and install a 3rd which was OK. Took 3 weeks to get it right! To Best Buy's credit they issued a gift card for the installation charges.

I have a one floor, 2 bedroom apartment and needed A/C. I got this 12000 BTU to cool off the whole place. It does that and at night, I put it on Econo and it works great. Easy to install and fits in small Windows. Check dimension first.

My wife and I like the bedroom temperature to be in that 64 degree range year round. Rather than run the central AC to that level, we use this model to frost the bedroom each evening to get a good nights rest. Installs and removes in a few minutes.

We needed a bigger AC to cover the living room and kitchen area. This one works fine to get rid of the humidity in the room, it doesn't make the place super cold though (might be because of the high ceilings and bad windows our apartment has). The AC is a bit loud and seems even louder because it is next to the couch so it's hard to hear the tv. Good AC that isn't too expensive. Would highly recommend if you have a spot for it away from the couch and TV so you can hear.

Easy to install air conditioner. Great size for the amount of cooling power. I use it in my kitchen and it does a very good hob coolong the space. I wish it was just a little bit quieter.

This AC cools my entire first floor! It's not the quietest thing but it's powerful! Remote shows the temperature in the house as well. Very nice

this unit i have in master bedroom where i also have a queen and 1 full beds. i live in a two bedroom apt and it keep every room super cold with bedroom door open even my dog needs a jacket on to walk around in my apartment.Very happy and best feature is the auto and energy saver !!

This is the most BTU that still uses a 3 prong plug. Bought this for my office and it cools it down pretty fast, even on those really hot days. Pretty easy to install window unit.

Cools room quickly, can be just a bit noisy nothing overbearing. Remote is big plus, especially when your too lazy to get out of bed.worth Price was okay, but well worth the investment.

Installation was easy. It's louder than I'd like it to be, which is the biggest disadvantage. Manage to cool down a ~400 sq feet room.

Just what I was looking for. We lost power during Hurricane Irma and even though I had a generator, I didn't have a portable a/c. This a/c unit is perfect! Cools off my family room like a champ. About 800 sq feet total. I will never be hot during a hurricane again!

We have a large three bedroom apartment with plenty of corners and long hallways. We put this AC in the living room, which is basically at the front door, and it cools the ENTIRE apartment in less than an hour if you open all the doors. Did not at all think it was that powerful when I first bought it. We even skipped out on buying another AC for one of the bedrooms because it's cooled so well by the one in the living room! Cons: it's pretty loud, but once you have it running for a while you can turn it off without sacrificing temperature if your place is well insulated.
