I got 2 of these units and they cool my entire downstairs - living room, den, office, kitchen, laundry room, utility room & powder room. Worked great even when the heat index was over 100. Easy peasy lemon squeezy to install. About as noisy as you'd expect from a window air conditioner but I don't mind that at all. It's not too bad. My dogs really like these too.

I was Johnny come lately when the heat wave hit. Was desperate for some relief so I went to Best Buy. They had this AC that was the perfect size to cool my entire main floor. It did not disappoint. It does cool our entire 1st floor and has some really neat features like turning off to conserve energy. Recommend highly...

I bought this unit to replace a 15,000 BTU LG unit. According to my square footage, this unit would be better suited for my space than a 15,000 BTU model. The pros are it's running well going into its second season. Certainly struggles quite a bit more than my prior unit to cool, but in fairness, this unit is 3000 less BTU. Remote works well. I like the sleep function and the screen is easy to read. Also, this unit can be used on a 110v line. What I don't like is the fan is still loud, but not as effective as my old unit. This unit lets a lot of light in the room through the vents and the extension flaps. If your room faces east, the sunlight will come in right through the vents in the morning, or in the evening if your unit faces west. I have this unit in my bedroom, and work odd hours and find the light that comes through annoying. Also, this unit would not be good in a theater room due to the amount of light it lets in. Another con is the unit has open vents on the top of the case. That means when it rains, water goes into the unit and will eventually rust it out once certain coatings wear off. No surprise there are no holes in the bottom for the unit to drain the water that can easily pool. The unit maybe well thought out, but certainly not to the advantage of the consumer. The reviews seem solid, so I'm hoping this will last a while.

We purchased this for a vacation property to replace a really old GE unit, probably from the late 70's. Not being an expert on Window air conditioners I did a lot of home work on what to look for within the specifications to determine what would be my best value not necessarily the least expensive. BTU's and Noise level were all very similar in the units that I compared, however the one thing that stood out to me was the amount of moisture that the unit could remove from the air. "It ain't the Heat, it's the humidity" I came to this realization after I had purchased a Portable unit, one of the ones with the hose you put into the window, the same BTU Capacity, but it never seemed to do the job. This unit had a significantly larger moisture capacity then the units I had compared it to plus the one that I already owned, and was only $50.00 more. Totally satisfied it runs circles around the other unit of the same BTU capacity.

AC fit the bill perfectly. Right size and output, cools the room quickly and quietly. Remote is a plus.

Cools down my living room and 2 bedroom. Easy to use and the noise level is not to loud.

I needed a window air conditioner for the second story of my old house. This one does a great job, didn't cost much, and was installed by Best Buy and working in less than an hour. All together a great purchase.

I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. Can't give it 5 because I haven't had it long enough but I LOVE it. Had this before. Lasted a long time. Frigidaire seems to make A/C's that last. Pretty quiet too w sounds that give you the white noise. Only complaint thus far is when you 1st turn it on it goes into $Save mode. It needs to go into the Mode you had it in when you shut it off. I don't like it shutting off & on. Besides I think that would age it faster. I got the 12,000 btu which is larger than I need but I LOVE that it doesn't have to work that hard to keep me Cool

Works wonderfully! Packaged extremely well, easy to put the side panels on, light weight (compared to older models) and cools the room down beautifully! It's very easy to control and the remote that comes with it is durable. Always been a fan of Frigidaire, our older ones we have had for 6 years and the only reason we needed a new one was because we moved into a bigger house with more rooms.

Nice and quiet. Strong enough and very easy to attach to my window frame.

Very easy to install, great price, quieter than other brands that I have bought in the past.

Works better than expected. Only takes about 2 min to cool down the room it’s in. The features on it really come in handy. It saves on power costs with eco mode, once it senses the room is at the right temperature it turns off based on the thermostat in the unit or with the remote control that can be placed anywhere for better temperature regulation. Has a sleep timer too.

This A.C. was easy to install and easy to set up. Runs quiet and very cool.

We've had this air conditioner for over a month, and find it to be efficient in keeping us cool during a particularly hot summer. The installation was easy and the remote works great. A bit noisier than expected, but that's assumed from a window unit. It's priced very well for what you're acquiring... Wish we were given the option for 4 1/2 Stars!
