This A/C starts cooling the room as soon as you turn it on. You can feel the cold air blowing strong with this BTU standing in front of it. The box came equip with easy installation guide and parts so i got it secured on the window and powered up in under 15 minutes. I ordered it on bestbuy web site and received a TXT msg within 1 hour that it's ready for pick up.

It was like 95 outside a couple weeks ago and it cooled the house down nicely to 70. It's not super quiet but it works very well. Also has a remote with it which works great. It cools down my living room dining room and kitchen. If you've never put in a air conditioner it can be a pain to install it. Definitely have someone else with you

Excellent air conditioner. Did some research prior to purchase to make sure it would fit my window which measured 24". The unit is kind of heavy and was tricky to get into the space but when plugged in it really cooled down a larger open area fairly rapidly. The unit it replaced was 30 years old so it is way more efficient also.

I just installed this ac unit in my garage. When I went to garage to do a project, it was cold. Very happy. It has been only a couple of days, so I’m not sure about longevity. Frigidaire tends to make good products, so I’m sure this will last. Decent price for a good product.

Easy to install, basically pull it out of the box and put it in the window. This air conditioning unit works great. He calls about 1200 ft.² of living space. It sometimes gets too cold that I have to turn it way down or turn it off completely. Worth every penny. I am going to go and buy another one next year.

Excellent Air Conditioner. Had Bought a 6000 BTU recommended for the size of the room and absolutely didn't cool at all. I ended up returning it and went to Best Buy instead and picked up this one and it cooled the room in minutes. I am Happy with this purchase.

This unit is perfect for large rooms. It cools my master bedroom, master bathroom and my walk in closet. I like the bedroom temperature to be 68 degrees for optimal sleeping. This unit does the trick and is energy efficient in doing so. I have had this air conditioner for just over an month and I love it.

This air conditioner cycles awesome. My central heat and air went out and I used window units last year but they were cheap and I got these and these has saved me on my light bill a whole lot I'll never go back to a central heating and air these cut at least $100 a month off my electrical bill.

Overall this air conditioner does what it's advertised to do. The air is cold and covers a long range of distance. Having eco settings allow you to keep the air conditioner on all day while the machine manages itself. The only issue I had was that my unit did not come with the top frame parts to install it into the window. A custom frame had to be made in the window to properly place the air conditioner. Called Best Buy about it and they told me I needed to bring back the entire unit so they can make sure. Couldn't do that because I really had the unit installed and working. Otherwise, I do recommend this product. Most likely you will not be missing the top frame as I was.

The air put out by this AC is perfectly cold but the fan in the unit is not strong enough to push it beyond my very small living room. I put a fan in front of the unit and it not only cools my living room but cools off the next room too. I purchased this 12,000 unit even though my room size only called for a 8,000. So glad I did that. Also, my electric bill barely feels it.

Now instead of dying, I turn this on when it gets hot! But in all seriousness, I use this for a 500 square foot room and it does a great job keeping the room cool. I've used it through two summers now and it isn't too bad on the electric bill either.

I bought this unit to replace a GE window air conditioner which was only 1 year old and kept throwing an E8 code that GE was not helpful in addressing. This unit however has work great cooling a Kitchen, Living area and Dining area. Highly recommended.

Efficient. Should have gotten a more powerful one but this ac works really well. Its quiet, looks good and cools the room. I have a large area and i thought this would cover it but should have gone larger. My fault. All in all great ac.

I purchased it to go along with central air I wish I had done it seven years ago when I first bought my home a bit overkill for my master bedroom even though I have a 25 x 25’ room works like a charm it even cut my monthly electric bill more than half

Like this window ac unit. I feel like the air gets pretty cold, and it’s not too loud. Definitely install with a friend, or pay to get installed though, cause it’s a pain to try by yourself.

I needed an A/C for my living room and bought this one. My living room is fairly large and even on power saver mode on 70F it keeps the room and the hallway cool. Its not frigid by any means but it is a good temperature at the regular setting. It was fairly easy to install, with help of course. It took my brother and I about 20 minutes.

Replaced my 15 year old air conditioner with this one and I have to say it really does the job especially on these really hot and humid days we been having here in NYC it gets so cold that I have to lower it it's a great unit for the price !
