Haven't had this long but it runs fine, perfect actually. Excellent cooling. I would have given 5 stars but for one thing. It has a LOUD useless beep with ANY button press, either on the remote, or on the unit itself. May have to silence that beeper on the circuit board. The cooling out-weighs the beeping for now.

the key to great A/C unit is the ability to cool quickly and do it quietly. the unit accomplishes this with ease.

I live in a 100 year old 2 story house. That means the central air that works beautifully on the first floor does nothing for the second floor. I had to have something to cool the bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs. This did the job. It's installed in a window in the back of the house and cools the entire upstairs even when I don't turn it on until 8 PM. It has kept the upstairs comfortable all summer. I would recommend.

Amazing AC cools almost our entire household, very economic solution.

This 12,000 BTU AC is far more efficient and completely cools my daughters east facing bedroom during the day where she sleeps after coming home from a midnight shift at a major local hospital - I replaced the 8,000 BTU she initially installed that was absolutely inadequate to provide her the restful comfort she requires after a very long evening shift tending to the needs of several patients housed in her ward for medical treatment and care.

We have a small 980 sq. ft. ranch beach property that needed A/C. Installed in the living room and the unit successfully cooled all the rooms (LR, Kitchen, Bath and 3 Bedrooms). We are very happy with this unit. Our only hiccup was that the house is so old it didn't have any grounded outlets, so we had to have an electrician come and install one for us.

Easy to install, the eco is kinda a pain but just don't use that feature. Not real load and cools great!

This air conditioner installed in my front window cools not only the living room where it's mounted but also the dining room area as well as the kitchen. It's relatively quiet except late at night when the entire house is silent is slightly more noisy and I have to raise the volume on my TV set.

The Frigidaire is fairly light and easy to handle. Handles more than the 550 Sq.Ft. Indicated and runs fairly quietly. Also the unit is nice looking.
