I use this in my garage with a window and it really makes the garage bearable in this hot California summer. When trying to cool a huge space, you need to make sure you get something that works. Cheaper ACs will not work when cooling a massive space so make sure you get something that covers the proper square footage and pushes the air.

We decided to move it to the dining room instead of the living room where it wouldn't have to compete with the noise of the tv. It does a good job of cooling our first floor (kitchen, living room and dining room), and I usually keep it on Auto/Econ 70 degrees (I like a comfortable temperature, not too cold). It is a little noisy though, but since it's in a room that isn't often used, we've tuned it out.

Better than I expected!

I was shocked when it actually kept the whole apartment not just comfortable, but cold! I've had to reach for a blanket numerous to warm up, even when it's been 90+ with a heat index of over 100. It is a little louder than I would like, but staying cool is far more important than having to turn the TV volume up!
