I have it in my basement. not as damp down there anymore. the warm air that it puts off helps too

Better than other brands, not as quiet as my colleagues old dehumidifier. Hard to find this unit.

This is my 2nd Frigidaire in 10 years and it is working well. The tank is a bit small and I empty it 3 times a day. I will say it was super quiet for 2 days then got a bit louder. It is still quieter than my older model. Overall it does the job.

Needed something to help keep our cellar dryer than it is and our old dehumidifier of 20 year had recently died. This product is doing the job. It actually seems to be taking more water out of the air than our older one. Also we really like that there is a hose let out that you can use to drain the water it's collecting into the same area that the A/C is using so we dont' have to worry about constantly emptying the reservoir.

Great for removing moisture from my home after the flood

I really, really liked this unit, until it died. Great unit. Unfortunately after owning it for almost 3 years, it died. It was displaying the F0 code and there was nothing I could do to resolve it. But when it worked, it really sucked the moisture out of the air and kept the humidity down a lot in our basement. I plan to buy another one exactly like it. Nobody seems to want to repair a $250-300 dehumidifier (doesn't make sense financially for anyone). So I just called Frigidaire. They simply chose to replace the entire unit by buying it back from me at my original retail price. Now that is fantastic service and standing by your product. I dropped a star due to it dying, but otherwise overall I can't complain about the product or service. Hopefully the next one makes it longer than 3 years. The 5 year parts warranty is really nice in case it doesn't!

I had an older Whirlpool dehumidifier, and never could get the musty smell out of my unfinished basement. After just 2 days, the smell was gone, and remains gone when running the unit regularly. The bucket is easy to empty and the controls are easy to use. Overall, the Frigidaire seems to be very well thought out, and this has been a great purchase for our home.

The dehumidifier arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It was easy to set up and is very quiet. Our basement has never been so dry. It is set to keep the humidity below 50% and only runs when it hits that point.

This is probably our fifth dehumidifier since we moved into our home in 1986. Our basement really needs help to clear out the humidity, and we average 3 to 6 years with a dehumidifier. This one has been a gem from the start. It is a clean design and much quieter than previous units we have owned. The filter is easily cleanable. The collection bucket is easy to empty, and unlike other units we've had, can be disassembled for cleaning and disinfection. All such buckets eventually develop mold from constant use, but the design of this one is exemplary. When we were looking for a new dehumidifier, this was the best value and remains a reliable, good-looking workhorse. Great product..

the unit has worked well, no issues. quiet and functions like it should. after we bought one for ourselves, we purchased a second for our son, he loves his unit also. the unit is easy to use and rolls easily on the floor.

I installed a hose from the Dehumidifier to my sump system. Very easy process! It has done a fantastic job of keeping my basement dry and comfortable! It is great not to worry about emptying water!

I am on my third Frigidaire Dehumidifier. The first stopped working just short of the one year warranty. Frigidaire was quite good about replacing with new one. I got an extended warranty and good thing because this was stopped working shortly after the one year warranty had expired. Rather than give me a replacement this time they had me send in the original receipt and the model/serial number sticker off the replacement and refunded my money. I bought a third same Frigidaire dehumidifier same model along with an extended warranty. When it works it works well, and other brands seem to be worse. For the price of one, I will keep getting replacements, only cost me the extended warranty so I am happy although it is a pain to go through the replacement every year. Hopefully someone will come with a dehumidifier that last the way the old ones did---for years!

Excellent dehumidifier for my first home! The odor that was obvious once we enter our newly bought 1966 originally constructed home immediately dissipated after 72 hours of continuous dehumidifying action! I am so happy with this product, I will buy another one as a gift for my sister. Great purchase, worth every penny!
