I had an old dehumidifier that I purchased about 20 years ago. I was a little surprised to see that the prices went up. But I am presently surprised! The new one is so much quieter and very efficient. I would highly recommend this!

Been running just over a month now. Replaced a LG that was just 2 years old. This one is more quite and has a larger capacity. You need to have a water hose attached if you have a lot of water to remove. Had to empty the tank twice a day. If it is removing that much water it must be doing the job well.

I have this in the basement running continuously. It is quieter than my other dehumidifier and has a hose hookup so I routed it to the sump pump and never have to empty a bucket. Downstairs is dry and doesn’t have that damp, musty smell.

So far so good. Pulls the humidity from the air at a pretty good rate. Simple to use and maintain. Had to replace 3 year old Soleous dehumidifier that had quit working. Was disappointed that one did not last any longer so went with this Frigidaire thinking this is better brand name and hopefully it will last longer.

I have mine set up in my basement workshop to drain so I never have to empty the bucket. Dries out a 1000sq ft room pretty well. Probably pushing its limits a bit but I've had zero issues. And I never hear it! Best deal for the price too

This works exactly as I had hoped it would. It is very easy to move around and has wheels on the bottom and can be connected to a tube to be drained into the floor.I was fortunate enough to find a open box item which significantly reduced the price. I haven’t had a humidifier in my house for years and my wife has been telling me we should get one. I decided that I valued my wife and that will be good to listen to her. LOL. Once again she was right. I could feel a difference within the same day as significant difference with in three days. It was amazing the amount of water that was being pulled out of the air. I highly recommend this product

It really does amazing job with getting humidity out of the house. Only one thing is that very warm air comes out, so have to run air conditioning a lot.

I highly recommend this product. It is reasonably priced. I have been running it non-stop since I got it. My electrical bill hasn't changed much. The filter is washable. If you need a dehumidifier, buy this one.

This dehumidifier is easy to set up and just as easy to clean. It’s been incredibly effective at pulling moisture out of the basement, and the filter is very easy to remove when needed. Good value for a good product.

Despite drywall dust and everything else, it keeps going. Easy to empty. Easy to clean the screen with a vacuum. Helped dry out basement concrete, drywall mud and more. Been running pretty much continuously for nearly 4 months.

I've been happy since day one. The setup was, take out of box and turn on. We switched from tank to direct drain, also a breeze. Another bonus was no new filter to buy constantly, just rinse and put the original filter back in.

I NEEDED THIS FOR A 15 FT BY 20 FT BASEMENT ROOM. IT DOES A GREAT JOB AND IS VERY QUIET.

i have owned this for 2 months running in a 2 car attached garage. it does a good job of keeping humidity levels under control in a humid climate. good capacity, it is much quieter than an older dehumidifier that i have.

We had one of the dehumidifiers that was recalled due to a fire hazard...YIKES! I was surprised that I didn't recognize most manufacturers once I started researching my options. Frigidaire was one I did and after some research (including Consumer Reports), I felt comfortable buying this unit. Hopefully, it will last many years.

A good machine so far, using it in late fall is not the best time to base a review on. The fan had been staying on quite a bit and was concerned if it would ever shut off but now it is off at the current humidity setting. It is definitely not quiet as some reviews state. If you are trying to be in the same room area such as the basement finished family room you have to shut it off.. If you have it running in a closed off space or live on a different level you would barely hear it,.

Needed to replace previous dehumidifier for our damp basement. This one really pulls water out of the air! More efficient and quiet than the previous one. However, the previous model also had a cycle option, which I liked -- you could set it to go on for 2 or 4 hours, then off for 2 or 4 hours. This one can be set to run continuously or for a limited number of hours.

Works like a champ, put in my damp basement and it has made a world of difference.
