Works really well for cooling off my living room which is prob a little over 500sqft. It doesn’t really reach into the kitchen but it was easy to install and I would recommend it.

Only use it for the AC, not the humidifier function, and it works great. Cools down my large living room in about 30 minutes, and fairly quiet

Its an ok portable AC but the price was a bit exorbitant more than likely because i bought it on the hottest day of the summer. The AC itself is just average in my opinion. After running it for about 3 hours it finally cools down the room i have it in. It was easy to set up but heavy as heck to carry up to my 3rd floor walk up apartment . I think that was the only reason i didnt return it. Because once i got it upstairs i knew i wouldn't be able to carry it back down. I would say purchase if you get it on sale.

We used this too cool our garage, it is very quiet, and cools very well, but the exhaust tube is somewhat short, and also doesn't stay in place in the window very well.

Firstly, the package arrived any other packaging - meaning, the contents weren't concealed. So, if I wasn't home to accept the package, it could've possibly been stolen, because an onlooker would have seen a portable air conditioner on my porch. Lastly, the box was in an egregious condition. It looked somewhat open and even had a huge hole towards the bottom corner. It was so bad, that when I took it out of the package, 1/5th of the box fell right off from the bottom. However, upon testing the unit, all appears to be well. But, should things change, I'll update my review.

It cools a single room really well. Trying to set it in the hallway to cool multiple rooms doesn't quite work. Also, the exhaust hose is half as long as it shoud be.

Friends have been encouraging me to purchase a portable air-conditioner for my large loft bedroom. I was nervous but made the plunge. So glad I did. Works like a charm. I feel like I have central air. Little noise not like my window unit. The sound is very calming. I love Frigidaire products. This company is under rated for sure. Highly recommend to all.

Very quiet , makes the room super cold easy to set up and store !!

It’s a good unit doesn’t fill with water too fast and it cools nicely but that 700 square foot claim is definitely a stretch to say the least.

This cools half my house. Easy to clean filter and runs quiet.

I purchased this model on recommendation of my sales consultant. I liked that the unit was internal with the small window covering necessary. I think it is less noisy than the 14,000 btu window unit I had and less cumbersome but it no where is effective in cooling the room! Very disappointed but now beyond the 15 days. I have had to now purchase a window unit. The cost of the portable is about $150 more than the window unit which is 1000 btu more but (both Frigidaire) barely does my family room (12x18). I’m going to move the portable to my bedroom which is the same size but I can shut the door. My family room is open to my kitchen, 12x12, and the portable does NOTHING in that area. I have it set at 60 and it is 76 degrees at the lowest even after leaving it on all day while I’m at work. It says it has a timer but you can’t set it to come on like 2 hours before I get home, only can set it to go off at a certain point so that was disappointing as well. Very sorry I fell for the higher price thinking it would be better. Also, the tubing mechanism is cheaply designed, making it a tenacious connection. That definitely needs improvement.!

I bought this unit because my central HVAC unit stopped working and wanted spot cooling to use for the interim and to help lower my electric bill, as I sleep during the day when it's hottest outside. The first thing I noticed was that it takes up a lot of space. The window kit doesn't allow for multiple orientations, so I had to move my desk to put the exhaust vent on the right side of the window. That annoyed me, but hey I got it connected. And speaking of exhaust vents.... That thing gets incredibly hot! I was waiting for the room to cool down and after about 20mins I noticed the temperature hadn't changed at all. Same after 40 and 60mins. I thought it was something wrong with the window attachment so I went to check it out and it was too hot to touch. The exhaust hose was the same - in fact it felt like it was a heater, as the whole area behind the AC unit was hot. This was put in the smallest bedroom in my house (11x12), so it should've been frigid in there, based on square footage, but it actually got warmer. This unit is going back to the store (which is a pain because it's heavy and I have to load it up myself) and I do not recommend this it to anyone.

It is elegant and pretty quite for an AC, but it cannot cool as I was expecting. I like the idea of portability but it could not cool a pretty hermetic basement of 500 sq ft, so I returned it. I would need to get a window unit, which I do not love as it blocks the sun from coming in, or a more expensive ductless unit.

I'm using this for a small room and it works perfectly. So good infact I can cool that room and the hallway surrounding it with the door open. This is amazing. It's pretty pricey, but it's worth it for the cool air in this crazy hot summer.

Hope to AC my garage with this unit. We used it in a covered exterior spot near our bbq that throws enormous heat. It doesnt AC the outside very well, but it does give us a spot where you can stand and feel the cold air. It will be moving to the garage in the near future. My electrician suggests we have 20 AMP service, so were upgrading a couple of outlets from 15 AMP.

This thing is heavy, But it really does the job! I cool a living room, dining room and kitchen with it and I’m very happy with its performance.

We've only had the air conditioner for approximately a month. This is why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I feel that you should have product longer and verify its durability before applying five stars. I was quite skeptical of the portable air conditioners currently it seems to be doing the job as indicated in the description. It's much quieter than we expected.
