We've made a number of A/C purchases over the years. Most recently opting for the portable types as we just can't wrangle the window units in! So far, this has been the best portable A/C we've ever purchased. Very happy with it

This unit was all that was available at our local best buy. Thankfully it's what we were headed there to purchase. It cools well, but I don't think it completely lives up to it's rating. If it came down to it, I'd buy it again for its sale price.

The Frigidaire 14,000 BTU portable air conditioner cools a 16' by 27' enclosed patio in Florida. Temperatures have been in the mid 80s with humidity in the mid 70s. This unit keeps the enclosed patio pretty cool. Have not seen increase in our electric bill yet since we bought the unit less than a month ago.

i have a 2600 sq ft bi level house and it cools the whole upstairs within 2 hours..very nice and quiet system..

The A/C works great, it cools down our whole living room and kitchen and has clean lines. Worth the buy!

This is a great portable air conditioner. It cools down a large living room and requires little upkeep.

This unit was easy to install. Once hooked up it cooled my living/dining room area quite adequately.

I bought this in hopes of being able to keep the main living area of my house cool. It was too much for it to keep up with so I moved it to my bedroom. It works beautifully in there and has no problem cooling it to 68 degrees.

I was hesitant purchasing the product for the amount Best Buy was asking for because I had purchased a different air conditioner and it wasn’t that great. I am SO happy I got this model our room is like an icebox when it’s been 102 degrees outside and feels 120 degrees inside our room. Best invest yet! We can’t wait to see how the heater works this winter since our bedroom has the worst ventilation system created.

This A/C unit is pretty good, notice I didn't say great. I have an older, bulkier version with the same BTU, but does a better job of cooling the house. This one is lighter and a little easier to move around than my old one, and it does use a little less energy too.

We live in a small 1 bedroom apartment and keep this unit in the living room. It quickly cools down the room and spreads slightly to the other areas, however, if you don't have a fan it will not cool your other rooms as efficiently. The best thing I can say is even though this isn't energy star certified, running this unit hasn't jacked up the electric bill. We are happy with the purchase.

I purchased this ac until to help cool my house which has a lot of natural heat due to its position and the sun. I also have a lot of heat coming off of computers and monitors. Originally I thought I would have to try and keep this ac for certain parts of the house or a single room but it is strong enough to cool a portion of my whole house. Have had no problems. Working great.

Quiet operation. Quickly brings the room down to comfortable temperature.

I think the space we are trying to cool is at the maximum, so it doesn't get the room completely cold, but it definitely helps to cool the space down. Though i may recommend a square footage of around 100 sq feet less then its maximum.
