Works great I have a 680 sq ft apt and it is able to cool the place without any problem on a 95 degree day. It has a remote and has more features than I will ever need. So if your looking for a air conditioner this one will fit the bill.

purchased a new a/c lots of features that are helpful. the fact that they are more efficient is a big reason for buying. this is the second one I ve bought very happy with the units. they cool well and have a eer rating of 11.3 which is great compare to older models. will recycle my other units in a responsible matter. very good price at bestbuy.

I purchased this unit for my upstairs office. I have a lot of electronics and my home air conditioning does not cool it off enough in the summer. Installation was simple and it keeps my room, and the landing in front of the room nice and cool.

About 250-300 Sq. feet room and it cooks nicely. It's my 1st AC, I love cold air so I would get a higher BTU next time but if you're looking for simplistic comfort, it's a good purchase. I am happy with my AC and so is the dog lol.

I needed an air conditioner for my living room and wanted something a little more powerful than the 5,000 BTU in my bedroom...the 8,000 does the job nicely. Easy to pop into the window and turn on the remote! Not too noisy which is an issue for me. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This 8000 btu is a huge improvement from our old 5000 btu Frigidaire. It cools our trailer fast and efficiently. I am very happy, especially with all the extras. Its got night mode, 3 fan speeds, energy star and more!

we needed a bigger air conditioner for our living room we shopped around and chose a 8000 btu. it has really done a great job. we some times just put it on economy.

This is just prolonging central air, as its way better than window unit. Works very well, cools bedroom very fast. It could be a little quieter though. It will get me through handful of times a summer I need it.

My son uses this in his room and loves it.....it gets so cold in there the windows fog up...lol....he loves that it comes with a remote so his lazy butt doesn't have to get up to change the temperature.....you can't ask for anything more

Air conditioner operation and performance have met and exceeded my expectations. Unit weighs less and is less bulky to handle than some other brands. Cools quickly and efficiently.

great cool air, but a little louder then my last air conditioner. I give it a 4 rating, would have given it a 5 but it's a little loud.

I was looking to purchase a more energy efficient unit to place in my bedroom window. I have a 2 bedroom condo about 800 sq ft and I needed a unit that was strong enough to cool my bedroom plus other parts of the house. This hit the spot!

This a/c fits the window perfectly--didn't even have to use any foam. So much lighter than older models. Like that it goes on for seconds every 15 minutes or so to check temp.

I needed this aftery central air decided to die and couldn't afford to fix. I have been using this to cool my bedroom and love it. It quiet and gets the job done. Easy to install.

I had purchased a similar Frigidaire window unit 2 years ago to keep us cool and sane when our central AC was replaced. We kept it in our garage once the system was fixed- but it would have been a miserable 5 days without it. Lo and behold, our nearly- new system croaked it thankfully under warranty) so we dragged the original window unit to the bedroom and I ran to buy this current one for our living room, This time, we were without central AC for 3+ weeks..so the new unit, in tandem with the original, made our home safe and happy (even though we could really only be comfortable in the rooms with window units.) These models are both Energy Star products and our power bill reflected the energy savings. Thanks, Best Buy! .

I PURCHASED THIS A/C A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AGO. SO FAR SO GOOD. IT'S NOT THAT NOISY AND COOLS MY SPACE RATHER QUICK. I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT NOTIFIES YOU WHEN TO CLEAN YOUR FILTER. OVERALL GOOD A/C UNIT.

Love this AC! I had the model before this and I was not disappointed! This new model is just as cold, consistent and quiet as the old one, but I must say that the remote upgrade was a nice addition.

This works great for what we need. It's easy to install, not very loud. Cools the space it states on the box, ventilation is on the top so it seems things might fall into the vents, we will see.

Good air conditioner, but loud in a bedroom. Very fast cooling tho, and I have a 375sq foot bedroom.

The unit did an excellent job f cooling our upstairs - made the end of the summer more bearable. Superior air conditioner for the money.
