We have never owned an air conditioner because my wife gets sinus headaches from them. However, the heat and humidity this year became intolerable for her. She actually asked me to get an a/c unit! We researched the various manufacturers & found this unit to be the perfect fit for us. Best Buy had the lowest price, so I ordered one. It was ready for pickup on a Sunday within an hour of ordering it on-line. Installation was a breeze, & it works like a charm. Energy consumption is quite reasonable, and it makes a huge difference in tolerability of hot, humid days. A great purchase at a great price.

This AC unit was easy to installed in the window. This unit have a remote, timer and other features which is wonderful. I would recommend this AC unit.

This was the largest BTU unit in stock and too small for the size of the room I needed to cool but it was a hot weekend and I was desperate. Hence, it look longer to cool the room than I would have liked. Once I get the proper unit for my larger room, I will be moving this unit to the appropriate sized room. I don't mind the noise of the unit as much as I mind the heat and humidity of this record tying/breaking summer in Hawaii.

A/C was easy to learn how to operate. It cooled the room quickly. And it was not too loud.

Is installed in a small room with computer servers. Keeps the room cool, and is not overworking.

Had no problems installing. While I have basic competence with tools, I rarely do anything like this, so I'm impressed with the ease of installation (I *did* go very slowly). Once installed, it functioned immediately exactly as described. I particularly like the the energy-saving mode. Once the room reaches the desired temperature set on the thermostat, the fan runs for only a few minutes each hour, sometimes just for seconds at a time, & the room remains comfortable. Definitely feel this was a good choice.

Cools down my medium size bedroom very quickly and effectively. Noisy, but does not bother me

Great AC window unit, cools off the whole room and has great energy saver features once the room is at the desired temperature.

Needed an A/C to add to my Pop-Up camper. I started with a 5,000 BTU unit, and it wasn't quite strong enough to keep the camper cool during the hot Summer months. I upgraded to this unit and it did the job well. I took off a Star because the temp gauge is off by about 5 degree, and will kick the A/C off too soon if you don't set it lower than what you want. Otherwise a nice window unit. It's quiet also

It keeps me very cold at night, and the remote is great i don't have to get out of bed

I have owned several 8000BTU A/C units and thia is by far the best. Well worth the price which was very reasonable.

This unit was easy to install, runs quietly and cold the room quickly. Bought it on sale so the price was good too.

It is a bit noisy but it does cool my 350 square foot apartment fairly quickly.

Nice design, light weight, easy to use. Not as well made as the expensive brands, therefor louder - but half the price. Automatic temperature level set not that accurate. For 8000 BTU's of cool it is good.

This cools our attic bedroom pretty good. We have high ceilings, and like I said, we have an attic bedroom, so we use this in conjunction with ceiling fans and central air set on 73 all summer long. Not too heavy and easy to set up. The remote is a plus.
