Nice and light. Easy to install and very quiet running.

I bought this for a guest area to help keep the upstairs cooler during the hot months. When no-one is visiting, I've been able to set the temp higher to keep it from being overwhelming. I love being able to set the thermostat and leave it to kick in when needed.

I bought this A/C on an impulse to replace a similar sized unit that I've had for almost 10 years. I was extremely disappointed at how loud this unit is when it's running. It was actually louder than a model that I'd purchased ten years earlier. This is especially problematic for me because the unit is installed in my bedroom. Were it not for the effort I went through removing the older unit and installing this one, I would have certainly returned it for a refund. On the plus side, it cools the room well and has all the basic features you'd expect in a low end A/C.

We closed up our garage and put this baby up in the window we installed where the garage door used to be. South Texas heat this year reached the maximum 116 in the Heat Index and this baby kept the room nice and fresh throughout the summer. Highly recommend! and the Air Cleaner feature is nice as well!

This unit is priced right and is very efficient. There is basically no noise inside, which is a nice change from previous units. There's a reason Frigidaire rates so highly amongst consumers. Stick with this brand and you won't go wrong.

This AC would chill out a medium room. I put it in the living room and it keeps that room nice and cool and the rest of my apartment comfortable. A very nice unit and came with a remote so you can turn it on without walking over to it.

I purchased this unit and installed it right away because of the heat. It immediately started to cool my 14x14' bedroom. We're now back to using multiple blankets instead of uncovering through the night. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I find the air conditioner to be noisy, and the economy setting usually makes me wake up in the middle of the night (because it turns on and off constantly).

Just wish it was a little more quiet. other then that it gets the job done. have it hooked up to belkin wemo so i can get the room cool when I'm coming home.

Bought this for my sons room upstairs that gets to 120 degrees in the summer. It's quiet and for the size lets off a lot of cold air. In fact he had to turn it down because it was getting too cold!

The unit certainly gets things cold enough, and the added remote is a nice touch. The only problem is with the thermostat set for a certain cut-off temperature, the unit turns off at exactly that temperature, and if the temp. of the room goes up just a little the unit kicks right back on. At night, by a bed, this can be a little annoying. It should've been programmed to take the temperature down just a bit further than what is programmed so that this wouldn't happen--at least for a few minutes. Otherwise, the unit is great for one big room or two medium-sized rooms.

I was really excited to install this Frigidaire window AC as I've been using a larger Frigidaire window unit to cool my living room for years and it's been excellent. My existing unit cools the room so well that I usually keep the temp setting between 74-78 degrees on the economy mode and the room is comfortable. Setting the temp any cooler leaves the room uncomfortably cold, which I appreciate. This 8000btu unit, however, is quite the opposite. It's advertised to be able to cool a room up to 350 square feet so you can imagine my disappointment that it struggles to cool my 200 square foot bedroom. The unit is in the window just feet from my bed and I find that I have to continue to run my fan on high to sleep comfortably. Even when I drop the setting into the low 60s and let it run on high, it doesn't cool like I was expecting. It makes the room bearable, at best. I understand that cooling a room upstairs is more challenging than cooling a room downstairs, which is why I went with a larger unit than recommended for my square footage. If returning it wasn't such a hassle, I wouldn't hesitate. As for noise, I don't think it's bad, but I'm used to sleeping with the sound of a fan and that is usually louder than the AC. Bummed about this product and have no idea what to replace it with as I've been a dedicated Frigidaire customer for years and worry other brands will also disappoint.

I really like the energy saving mode. Since we are gone during the day, we can set it to automatically kick on as the temperatures rise thru the day and come home to a cool space.Cools well, is fairly quiet and easy to use with the remote control.

This was purchased to replace an older one that died on me. It gets really cold and does a great job cooling our medium-sized bedroom. There are also quite a few different settings available to meet everyone's personal needs. Would recommend.

This air conditioning it's a nice product and Iistall to my window bedroom and I turn on the unit it's is quiet and really cool so I like the my airconditioning the price is not bad thank you.

Works great! The air blowing was almost instantly cold. A little snag installing, outer window/storm window, but I managed. It would be better suited for a smaller space than I have it in but, keeping several rooms decently cool. Satisfied.

This little machine cools the bedroom without having to use the central air, saving us lots of money. We turn the c/a off at night and use a higher temp setting in the the day when we are not at home. The Frigidaire has an economy setting that turns on for a few seconds then turns off, maintaining a comfortable temperature consistently. The fan produces a white noise that isn't too unbearable and in fact we use the fan in the cooler months for that purpose.
