This window air conditioner unit is amazing cools in little time!! Very quiet and low cost for this air conditioning unit.. well worth your money especially for this extreme heat...

My central air went out and I needed a window unit, I got the Frigidaire because it's a well known brand. The price was right and it is keeping my family cool and comfortable!

Purchased this to replace an old 10k BTU unit which no longer worked. Surprisingly good area coverage despite 8k BTU. So far so good

I already owned an 8000btu in my living room which works great. The bedroom is smaller so I figured a 6000 would be OK. BUT...I get the morning sun pouring in though two windows and the 6000 was just overwhelmed in the mornings. I replaced it with another Frigidaire 8000 BTU and it really does the job. It's relatively quiet but don't expect silence from any window unit. One request I'd make is for Frigidaire to remove or soften the "beep" each time you press a button. For on thing - it scares my dogs!

The ac works perfectly. Bought it at the hottest time of the year and it did the job.

The economy setting is a great feature. The unit was very easy to install. This A/C unit is actually not running much of the time, but the space is very comfortable.

This works much better than I anticipated. Even on the 90 deg days we have been having, this unit has been keeping the downstairs of my house no higher then 72deg.

This unit is great for keepin a small room cool so you can lay back and enjoy the comfort of your home on hot summer days

It is a little noisy at times and I had to have Best Buy swap it out with a new one as they sold me one that was damaged.

I found this to be a good deal. Cools the room quickly. I love the auto temp that shuts itself down when temp is reached and kicks on again when it gets to warm.

Works well, not very loud. I like the economy setting where it automatically turns on and off based on the temperature you set it at. Remote. Easy to install.

We bought this air conditioner to cool our medium sized bedroom. It was decently easy to set up, but those little side panels were frustrating and we had to seal all the joints with tape. It cools the room nicely, but is fairly noisy. We've gotten used to it at night, but we can't use the ECO setting because when it shuts off and turns back on it makes too much noise. It's fine during the day, but not good while sleeping. We haven't seen any sort of jump in our electric bill, so it's definitely energy efficient. We use it every night and during the day only when it's really hot. Oh, and the remote is nice to have, except it would be better if it lit up. It's impossible to adjust in the dark. Overall, it's a decent air conditioner, but maybe better for an office or living room. The noise is a little much for the bedroom.
