A good portable for cooling a large room without too much noise.

Great features and gives off cool air. It is loud and would be great if it had a smarter timer. Doesn't seem to work. Overall I'd give it a B.

Works great after the initial set up and can cool an small room in matter of minutes (we are dealing with 95 degrees over here), Give it a try but remember that you need space near a window, a garden hose and water container. The good part is that I got this from an open box deal so I can forgive the set up.

Cools the space that I bought it for, I would recommend it to a friend. Easy set up.

Our Central Air went out in a period of high humidity and high temperatures. Purchased this to cool off about a 700 square foot area. It took about an hour to set it up and get it started. It brought the temperature from 95F to below 80F in 2-3 hours. The temperature wasn't cooling off at night and we needed to leave it on at night. Even on the low setting it was noisy and hard to sleep with it on, but it was very effective.

Its a bit pricey but definetly worth the money, it cools down rooms fast

I was worried about getting one as my apartment has a side sliding window but it had a panel to cover almost 90 percent of the area and the rest i managed it. I have it at low cool and it does a really good job at keep the room cool.

I am sure this would work better in a closed room. Unfortunately my living room is too open and closing it off is not practical. Also it is huge for my space and the furniture . But it beats having nothing when the temperature hits the 90's! It does get super cool.

My central air conditioner unit stopped working at the beginning of summer and I needed a quick fix for those unbearable hot days, I have a really inconveniently sized window in my room that does would not fit a traditional window air conditioner. I had never heard of this type of air conditioner until a friend mentioned they had the same problem and purchased one of these! Pretty easy install. The one downside is the size, it does take a bit of space, however it is well worth it not to sleep in a 90 degree room every night.

It cools Fast. Easy to use and setup. Great product.

seems to be okay for those rare 90+ degree days in the Pacific Northwest.. however, I am only using it in my bedroom to sleep at night. The heat out here is dryer than the east cost. (i lived in the tri-state area for 17 years.) So I am not sure of its working power if it were used out east. It seems fine so far.

Our central air went out when temps in Illinois were 90 degrees. Couldnt afford a new unit just yet so we bought this one to put in our family room. It works great for small areas. We have fans going and it really cools our family room down.

I use a crank out window which makes it hard to use the mount provided for the hose to exhaust out the window. I had to make a makeshift mount, which works but is ugly and not the most efficient. It would be nice if they can make a portable AC that can exhaust better in a crank out window.

Bought this product as an open box item and it works amazing. Was fairly easy to set up and the remote control makes controlling the unit a breeze. Overall pleased with the purchase as it cools the room fairly quickly.

This is an excellent appliance for boosting the cooling capacity of the central air system in a large room that is not well enough insulated for the main system to cool adequately. Easy to install and simple to use.

Purchased to cool my single car garage, which I use for storage and work in from time to time. Charleston SC summers are just too hot to spend much time in the garage. This unit worked very well, but a small ceiling fan was needed to effect maximum comfort.

Purchased for my son's gaming room, it is cooled the room quickly but is very loud and very bulky.

This Air Conditioner is great for our little 2 br apartment. Keeps the air cool and isn't very noisey. Once the desired temperature is reached in the room, the Air Conditioner will shut down, and will turn back on once the room begins to warm up, which helps with electricity!

Works great for a medium sized room. Not sure if the dry feature actually works, however, that isn't why I purchased it. Window installation is iffy, but I'm sure they're all like that.

We purchased this air conditioner for our bedroom to get through the hot days of this past summer. It did a nice job cooling the bedroom, although it seemed to take a while to get cool. The one I have in the Living Room (a different make/model) seemed to do a better job - however, in all fairness the other one is rated for a higher BTU so that might be why. The air conditioner is a bit louder than I would have preferred, but I am able to sleep through it. I am a light sleeper so I am thankful it is not too loud. It IS louder than the one I purchased for the living room though. Overall, I am alright with this one. I am planning to purchase a 3rd one for next summer, so I will put this one in the back part of the house and get another one for my bedroom that is a little quieter.
