It is very loud. The runn off hose does not come with it. Neither does the bucket needed to catch the water. It's very easy to have water escaping onto the floor.

This works absolutely perfectly for me. I have a smallish apartment (~650 sq) , with the rooms on average ~300 - 400sq. This wasnt too large, or small and the rooms cooled down within minutes. Really helps keep the warmer california weather at bay. I havent used the dehumidifying mode, however based on the existing product id expect that to work well. Highly recommend if you have a small space to use it.

But summer hasn't started yet. We'll see in August with multiple 100+ degree Texas heat days. So far it's working good. Keeping southern exposure bedroom comfortable. It doesn't seem to be any louder than my previous portable AC. Easy to install. Delivered without remote and user guide. Great customer service from Best Buy and Frigidaire got them mailed to me in days. Great price and quick delivery. Thumbs-up!

I purchased this air conditioner a few weeks ago. That was a mistake and I will never buy anything from Best that I can't evaluate in the store. They didn't have this item on display, so there was no way to test it. Once @ home and installed, the unit is functional, but its so noisy that it is uncomfortable. I just checked similar in capacity DeLongi unit and it was significantly quiter.

Gets 200 sq ft room cold quickly. Seems to get louder as you set the temperature lower, hose comes loose easily on the side that attaches to the unit. Bought it on sale for $400.

This AC is the best I have ever had, works great not to loud.

the air conditioner has been working great so far, no complaints other than not really knowing if it accumulates water. i plugged up the drain opening near the bottom. seems to easily cool down a 12x15 room.

This unit is easy to install and works great. Completely cools a 900 sf studio apartment with 100 deg F temps outside. Fabulous!!!

This is the first portable A/C we bought and it has been great so far. I haven't tried it with a big room but it cools down my room about 400 sqft really fast. Lever of noise is acceptable, not quiet though.

We are using this in a basement so it needed to be vented through a high window and also drained through a hose. It LOOKS unattractive with the big venting hose and smaller drain hose. It is hard to read the control panel to adjust settings. It DOES cool well.

This was easy to install and is working very well.

No central A/C because of mild summers. But, we do get a few days of high temps and high humidity. Enter this unit. Easy to setup, programmable, auto modes, great for that bedroom that won't cool down quickly at night. Get it like I did, on sale!
