Our flex drawer didn’t work so we have a repair person here now. They have to order a new board as the button is stuck. It was also stated that this fridge may not be the best structure but it hasn’t been out for 10 years yet. A little worried about the future but here we are!

However, upon arrival the flex drawer and two of the lights were not working. Frigidaire sent out a tech and fortunately they fixed the lights and ordered us a new flex drawer that they will install. So it was nice to see they will follow through on the warranty. I gave it 5 stars since everything worked out. However it was a huge bummer to get a new fridge that had a problem right away.

The compressor plumbing makes loud whale-song-like sounds at worst and loud gurgling at best. Best Buy sent a service tech at no charge (thank you!) who confirmed our experience and said it was abnormal. He called Frigidaire and played a recording for them. They said it was normal! The fridge is beautiful, but is really intrusive to our whole main level. Please don’t buy this fridge.

Lights everywhere but the front panel, really?

The middle drawer is great and will freeze items (most only go to 33 degrees) which was why we purchased this fridge. Ice is good size and there is plenty. Why only 3 stars...The panel. The button text IS NOT LIT! Really. No Backlight so if you want ice and water or change boost, etc in the evening, you have to turn on the lights in the kitchen to able to read the text on the buttons. Not only not backlight, but the text itself is almost the same color as the panel, so there is no contrast. They could have at least made the text white on dark grey. REALLY? Would I recommend is Yes but the panel really is irritating.

It started leaking from the ice maker during the warranty period, about six months after we got it (the first time we used the ice maker). Repair guy said its a design defect and he fixes them all day long; the something line is right next to something else it freezes up. we had a fixed and it's doing it again a few months later. now no longer under warranty.
