Functional but disappointing

This Frigidaire is functional, but has some notable shortcomings to our prior model: 1) it's noisy - it's just making noise nearly constantly - either compressor running or bubbling or heating; notably noisier than our older model; 2) the water dispenses quite slowly; I don't know if it's because this is a 'pierce' load (our old one required cap removal from the bottle), but it's time consuming to fill anything; 3) the dispenser handles are flimsy and finicky; they are thin and easily slip as you try to dispense water (either hot or cold); and 4) it's unnecessarily tall standing a full six inches taller than our old top load making it harder to get a bottle loaded into it. I'd not buy this one again.

Good thing we bought the warranty (again a side promo to purchase the warranty. Worth the relief to return anytime and less aggravation over the cost of the warranty). Anyways, we have this product on a kitchen floor so it should be stable. But this product has such a weak base that we have to tie down on the wall so it doesn't shake. We live in the earthquake state of CALifornia. Also now that we have to flip the jug upside down, there seems to be quite a few spills everytime we change

This must have been a returned item because it didn’t seem to have all of the paperwork - and it took like 10 days to get here! Crazy. And of course it’s impossible to get Best Buy on the phone. So I guess I’ll just take it back to a store Such a shame
