Q: Does it also come with cooling in the bottom to store soda cans or water bottles?
A: Hi, LT! The bottom space is for the cooling and heating system, which will change the temperature of the water as it comes through. The area itself is not cooled. ~Ashton
Q: Can both hot and cold switches be on at the same time?
A: Yes, one switch controls the compressor for cold water and the other switch controls the heating element for hot water.
Q: Can you use a 4 gallon bottle in a 5 gallon machine
A: On a top loading dispenser, yes you can use a smaller bottle that has the same bottle neck.
A: The hot water temp is 194F.
Q: Breaker blows when l try to get hot water. What can cause this?
A: Hi 1818, I assume you mean that when you turn on the heating element (via the switch on the rear of the unit) the breaker blows. If so, you may have too many items plugged in on the same circuit - the heating element draws current that exceeds the combined value of the current draw of all devices on that circuit (fuse). Try moving the unit to a circuit on its own to see if the problem is resolved.
Q: How do you turn the hot water off as I do not use????
A: There is a switch located on the rear of the unit to turn off the hot water heater.
Q: Why does the water jug on top of the dispenser feel warm
A: The unit may become warm when the compressor is working. As there is no compressor fan, the unit uses the cabinet to dissipate heat.
Q: Where can I get replacement dispense valves?
A: Please visit https://www.curtisint.com/product-support, email [email protected] or call 1-800-968-9853
