I did expect it to be small and I was fine with that compromise, but I had higher expectations for the temperature. I would say it cools drinks above room temperature, but not as cold as a fridge. (I know that's not specific, but I didn't go as far as obtaining the degrees)

This unit cools by means of a thermo-electric cooling module that has the ability to cool 20F-25F below ambient temperature.
Perfect size and temp for lunches at the office

Its the perfect size and is rated at only 52w so its perfect for a cubical. I put a cup of water in mine with a meat thermometer and it keeps a constant 40 degree temperature in a room temperature of 72 degrees. It holds a decent amount of yogurts, lunch meat, etc without being massive on cubical desk and without pulling a lot of power. After seeing mine, two other co-workers are buying one for their desks as well.

The contents would stay cold, but not below 40°. I’ve had to keep paper towels in it for all the condensation. It would grow mold really fast for something that was kept clean. Just last night, not even a year later, it officially died. It’s best to pay for something that won’t end up in landfill.

Leaks water

Posted .Hi mia7, the cause of the water is condensation from warm humid room air entering the unit and condensing. Make certain the door is closed tightly & the fridge is on a firm level surface.
The more often the door is opened, the greater the amount of warm humid room air enters the unit and condenses.
