Bought this for my son for Christmas. He is a fan. Too bad Best Buy doesn't still sell music.

Chis Stapleton is among the best singer/ song writers ever. He has a simple but striking way of weaving his words into a story. Not songs about drinking beer in a pickup or drunk on a plane but songs that are intelligent and have true heart and soul. I have been listening to him since his days with the Steel Drivers. Another 5 star album. His voice in a bluegrass band is just incredible! Chis is one of the best!

This is a good follow-up to his first solo album. I believe that Broken Halos will become one of his signature songs. I was delighted to see that Mike Henderson was listed as co-writer on four of the tracks (I'm a big fan of Mr. Henderson). It is a little disappointing that there are only nine songs on this album. However, I understand that he will be releasing a companion album this fall. I am looking forward to it.

My testament to the excellence of this cd is the fact that this is the second time that I have purchased this same cd. Chris Stapleton has a voice that demands your attention and lyrics that challenge you on many levels. His guitar playing is legendary. This cd appeals to people who love excellent country music, deeply meaningful blues, and fun loving rock and roll. It is a must have for your musical library!

Chris Stapleton's second CD is awesome. Not quite the same push play and listen as "Traveller but still great overall. He is a breath of fresh air, with a great gravelly, bluesy voice that drew a longtime country music hater like myself to appreciate the genre.

Traveller set a high bar, so Chris is going at it from a new angle. This first half of another modern country classic fills out a vinyl time quota, while still leaving you wanting more. Cheers to volume one & set up another round for volume two.

Chris Stapleton does it again with a strong gritty voice and great songs with country/soul/rock vibe. If you love real inspired music instead of the polished sound alike country music on the radio this one is for you.

Chris Stapleton is the best country singer to emerge in the last two decades. Continuing on and building on the success of Traveller, From A Room is a brilliant collection of pure country music. A great CD.

This album was recorded in one of the most iconic recording studios in Nashville...thus the name, The Room. The album also has volume 1 in its title...which is a good thing for music lovers. Great album.

The cd was great Chris Stapleton always delivers. The new album has a slower more blues feel to it, with awesome guitar parts that you feel in your soul. If you haven't heard it I'd go pick it up today.

Chris Stapleton writes and sings what I would call real country and it’s straight from the heart. I have been listening to Chris from the Steel Driver days and all his music is great!

Not many singers/musicians today can make you feel their pain and joy the way Chris Stapleton can. A true diamond in the rough I hope never gets too polished by his long overdue success

Chris Stapleton one of the best singer songwriters currently in music. This album seems to have a slightly different flair than "Traveler", but good nonetheless

4 1/2 stars. only thing keeping it from classic status is the length. this guy is more than a country artist. blues, rock it's all on here. great work as usual.
