If you like murder mysteries with a little horror mixed in, you will love this. Johnny Depp and Heather Graham are great imho. Story line is really good with plenty of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.

It's a very good movie it had me on the edge of my seat. The picture value was very high the actor were very good the time period of the movie was captured in all the clothes and props and sets I love this movie...

I had not heard of this movie until I saw the steel book. Was a very good movie that integrated some theories regarding Jack The Ripper.

This is one of the more underated Johnny Depp flicks and a suburb film by the Hughes Brothers exploring the Jack The Ripper Myth..I loved this movie..

Not many people know this Depp cult thriller, used to watch it when I was younger and I loved seeing this on sale, what a find. thank you best buy.

The story is moderately good. However, for movie set in Victorian England and shot in the dark it is not very atmospheric. It feels like it could have been filmed on Hollywood set and not on location. Also, the two leads of the picture, Depp and Graham, had little chemistry and even worse accents. Graham's was so bad it was distracting.

Johnny Depp is superb in this film which I highly recommend to anyone interested in the subject.
