This product is suppose to be waterproof. The speaker got a little wet and stopped working

We own 2 of these speakers. BIG sound. Hooks up/pairs easily, simple controls, great bass. To compare, we own an Ultimate Ears’ MEGABOOM as well...it's no match for the Fugoo XL. We only use the UE now when we travel (since it's more compact). My only issue with the Fugoo XL is you can't connect 2 or more speakers together, which was supposed to be added in a firmware update from Fugoo (and why we purchased 2 of them initially). Disappointed in that, but not a deal killer...hopefully they'll add that feature. Otherwise, worth a look!

The volume of this speaker is not very loud and had to return it and got Sonos 5.

This speaker really sounds crisp and clear until 85 - 90% of the full volume. Beyond that you could hear little crackling noise. Only downside is max volume as speakers smaller than this sound really loud when cranked up. The bass is good unless you expect it to have the boom effect like jbl xtreme and other boom boxes. You also get 360 sound as we have speakers on both sides.

So for $250 I'd expect to be impressed. I dont know what all the rave is about over this speaker, because I was very disappointed with the sound. I bought this speaker after researching it online and seeing its high reviews. My rating is based solely on the sound. Its clear, loud enough for a small to medium sized room, but it lacks hugely in the bass department. I listen to hip hop and this speaker did not have what it takes to deliver a quality bass sound. Mind you the speakers are tiny, but for $250, i'd still expect better. $250 will get me a high quality Boombox that I can still use at bbqs, small parties, on the b-ball court or beach. I dont need something that fits in my bag, I need something thats portable and that I can enjoy my music with. And unfortunately this didnt cut it for me personally. FYI, out of the box it will not play your music via bluetooth, you have to hook it up to your computer and download the latest firmware. Just a heads up if you decide to make this purchase and the speaker works for your music taste.

This speaker has awesome sound! Very happy with it.

I liked the look and (heavy) feel of this speaker right out of the box. It was easy to charge and to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + phone and my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro tablet, BUT IT WOULD NOT PLAY THE MUSIC!!! I tried re-setting the speaker, but with no success. I sent an email to tech support, but the ONLY response I received was " I am assuming you are using a Samsung device or some type of Android device?". To me this says that the company knows there is a compatibility issue with Android devices, but doesn't want the public to know. VERY BAD BUSINESS!!! I exchanged it for a UE Megaboom...So far, so good with it!

My husband and I decided to purchase this as a Mother's Day gift for his mother. She loves to play music and she set this up in her room. It plays great sound and is actually pretty loud. I'd say it was a good buy!

This was worth every penny it has indoor and and outdoor mode.. and has battery life perfect for camping or going to festivals and it's waterproof so that's a plus for any on the go music listening

Watched online reviews prior to purchase and have to agree that the sound is muffled and while the bass seems to vibrate at low enough frequencies, there is just no punch at all. If you are right in front of this speaker it sounds good, but as soon as you step a few feet way it just sounds horrible. Not distorted, but lifeless. Outdoors is much worse. You can do worse, but for the price one should expect more.

I have had my Fugoo Style XL since January I use it for work( I work in a warehouse loud noises etc.) and it worked great would last all day until recently when the battery started only holding a charge a couple hours. I tried to exchange it under the warranty through best buy (as i have done with other products that failed) and they told me nope that i would have to contact the manufacturer and wait about a month to get my speaker back , wasn't disappointed in the speaker just the service at Best Buy
