We purchased this to replace a Jambox speaker that had died. We love the fact that it is waterproof as we spend time around water and now don't have to be worried about our speaker getting wet. We also like the sound, the "outdoor" function is awesome and the highs and lows are really clean. We like the color of the XL as it goes with our decor, not that we chose it for that, but it was a nice bonus. Our only complaint is that you can't pair to the speaker once someone else has paired to it. My wife and I will often time switch up who is playing music and this forces us to have to hold the paring button and search out the unpaired device. Not a big deal, just wish you didn't have to handle the speaker to change devices.

I can't believe how long this speaker's battery lasts. It's incredible. The sound is fantastic and there is more bass than I ever expected out of a portable speaker. Much better than Jambox.

bought this for my husband who always complains about speakers sounding tinny? He loves the sound quality, brings it to the job sites with him. I like that it's weather proof, I know he's going to leave it outside one of these days.

I have used the UE Mega Boom and have that to compare. The Fugoo is louder. However, the cloth style cover got dirty. I noticed a rattle sound with certain music, like how car windows rattle when playing music with lots of bass. You cannot charge via micro USB, only with power adapter. I have not figured out how to adjust the sound quality, such as bass, treble, etc. It is heavy and can be hard to grasp initially. I have the hand strap on order now. I like that anyone can use it vs the Mega Boom where the owner has to be there with their phone or else the "party" stops.

This speaker sounds pretty good for its size, not amazing but very good. I Wish two devices could stay connected at same time, not to play at same time, but because it's inconvenient to have to switch back and forth on bluetooth devices

This is light weight and has better sound quality than many sound BARS! I love that I can take it with me to the beach, camping, or just in the backyard while having a bonfire.

This speaker performs well outside with good sound and bass. Has with stood the sand and rain with no difficulties when its occurred.

This unit replaced my Big Jambox and I do love this unit more because the Fugoo sounds a little better and it is waterproof. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is the battery life. It claims it has a 35 hour battery life played at mid volume but this was not the case for my unit. I was in the country at a friends house sleeping in a cabin with no electricity so I brought up mu Fugoo to have some sound while I try to fall asleep. I had it fully charged with my phone volume to the max and the Fugoo volume up 2 clicks. I slept 12 hours waking up and going back to sleep then turned the unit off just at 12 hours of play. The next night when I went to turn the unit on it said right away the battery is low. I thought WTF after just 12 hours on volume 2. Since I slept so much the night before I could not sleep. Keeping the volume at 2 it played an additional 4 hours then died. I was very unhappy because when I purchased it I thought great, this will last much longer than the Jambox. I'm glad I got the warranty but will hold on to this for a bit before going to replace it. I do love the unit though for the size and sound quality plus it being waterproof. It weighs 4lbs.1oz. and it feels solid. It does charge in about 2 -3 hours and you can charge and listen. I would recommend this unit but hopefully your battery does better than mine.

Every bit as good as advertised. Sounds great, long battery life and excellent range. Extremely high quality.

Bought for 16 year old son. Uses in his room for streaming his music while gaming with friends. Sound is good enough,bass alright for his room without shaking down the house. Tested against JBL and UE in store and produced clearer music with a little stronger bass. My son also thought this speaker was better looking besides sounding slightly better then others in price and size range. States he likes it when I ask.

So glad I picked this Bluetooth speaker. I remember that I tested almost every speaker in the store before I finally decided on this one.

This speaker had the most quality sound for a Bluetooth portable. Deep sound not airy like most others. We chose this over the Bose and are very satisfied.

Owned the speaker for about a year. Range and sound was great. Then one day speaker stopped working and just made a continuoues buzzing noise. Luckily I had purchased the protection plan and Best Buy got me a new speaker. If it wasn’t for that then I would of been much more disappointed for the amount spent on speaker.

I just picked this up last week looking for a "go anywhere" type of speaker and this sounds better than expected. This outperformed our Bose speaker so much that we are selling it and making the Fugoo our everyday speaker. Great acoustics as well as deep bass put this thing in another league.

Son uses it outside when coaching. Having it waterproof was imperative.

This speaker sounds great! It has the perfect balance of bass and treble, unlike Bose - which I think have too much bass. Note: I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, and I had to download the latest software onto the speaker for the bluetooth function to work. It was easy, and not a big deal.
