This speaker seriously lacks bass. The sound you do get is clear but it's not very loud and not what it should be for almost $300.00 I'm wishing that I have gone with the JBL. Or looked around a little longer.

My wife purchased this speaker for my birthday. She went with complete confidence. After reading the reviews and trying it out at the store. It has been a great buy! Still kicking like the day we bought it home.

They nailed it in terms of looks 10/10. This can be portable, but if you really want portable go with the regular fugoo.

We bought this for the annual beach vacation, and I used it everyday while down by the shore. Good purchase!

I was always going with Bose on this type of speaker but tried this for something different. Defientely worth the money.

This speaker is a fantastic unit that should be considered among the huge spectrum of bluetooth speakers. It sounds natural and balanced enough to satisfy most ears. The base is accurate, present, and powerful something rare in Bluetooth speakers. Mids and Highs are clear and event although not as crisp as they could be. All things considered the fact that it is virtually indestructible and sounds great at the same time is more then enough for me to justify the quality buy. Price 3.5/5 although this is a great unit it still seems a bit pricey sound quality 4.5/5 portability 3.5/5 (sacrifices must be made in order to make something that sound this good) battery 4/5 (although i could not get what was claimed it has an extremely good battery life) customer service 5/5 (Fugoo has a concentrated team that cares what you think and they want to make you happy) durability 5/5 this is the speaker you need that just works rain snow bumps and rolls don't faze this thing (sorry Bose, you're fragile)

I spent at least an hour in my local Best Buy listening to various wireless Bluetooth speakers for my deck. I came in expecting to purchase a KRAVN HD, listened to that one first. I was wondering why all the good reviews on that one as the sound was very hollow. Next i checked the Bose and it hAd a nice solid sound but when turned up the base overwhelmed the unit and drowned out the music. I would have tried the JBL Exreme but the demo was broken. The Beats Pil sounded good and was loud but could not handle the base. I went back over to the Sonos demo area, which is a decent sounding unit but of course it is not wireless. Same with the Bose Sound Touch, good sound, but a bit more pricey and not wireless. So i went back to the Bluetooth section and found the Fugoo. Wow, glad I did! What amazing sound from a wireless box. Now, this is no ordinary box, well built but heavier, so trackig around with you may be a bit tedious. But if you are going to set it down and play music then you picked the right Bluetooth sound box. Out of the box it is very simple to pair, and when you press the Bluetooth button, the box will prompt you with a voice to say it paired successfully. I streamed it to several Sirius XM channels including Spectrum where the well produced music is noticeable. Crystal clear studio like sound from this box? Yup! the base is amazing, the highs are never distorted. And , this box has separate speakers on both sides, so no matter where you want the sound it will be noticed. There is an outdoor setting that makes the sound even brighter. if you decide to use this indoor, it is better than any Bose sound system! There are several shells for this box to choose from, I went with the casual sand box. Oh yea, and this also acts as a hands free box too. no shouting in to this box and the caller can hear you just fine! I rarely give anything a 5 star, but this box powerhouse deserves it for sure!

I needed a speaker/music for the back of 50 my yard while I garden/work out there...saw this speaker and display for Fugoo...the sound and clarity blew me away as well as the clean awesome design...got it home and in the yard...Connected right away to my phone streaming music...great volume for outside...folks...this is not a full stereo system but to have great music in background...my neighbors could hear it and gentleman george( 2 year old neighbor) started dancing to the Beach Boys....enough written....love it!!!

Good speaker...was recommended by a family member. Does not connect to all Bluetooth devices

Not sure if I reviewed this before but after a year I'm very disappointed with this speaker. I have smaller Fugoo Style and passed that on to my wife. As for the XL I constantly get high frequency distortion, in particular on female vocals such as Adele, very disappointing for this amount of money. I've contacted Fugoo support and we've reset the XL and I have also updated the firmware with no luck. Getting the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ and I'm sure I won't have this issue.

Speaker does not work when volume in increase. This is the same model speaker and both will not work properly when the volume is turned up.

I Read so many reviews and I settled on the Fugoo XL. Dang I am so glad I did! What an awesome AMERICAN made in the US product. Good job guys. Pleased with the look and especially the build and great sound. So easy to connect and listen everywhere... nice bass... great clarity on vocals... nailed it!

I am an audiophile and I am very picky when comes to sound quality. I was looking for portable bluetooth speaker and auditioned several brands and models at bestbuy. I pick fugoo xl due to best sound quality to me. it sounds more natural to me and the bass is just right compare to the bigger bose, sonos, jbl, b&w and harmon kardon. It's as good as my b&o beolit and its more portable and longer battery life and it's waterproof! In term of portability and sound quality, it's best to me in the same class!

Great, high quality speaker overall, I had to test the 100% waterproof to see if it was actually true, After submerging this in a 100 degree hot tub, it floated, while still playing music. This thing has probably the best sound quality you can get overall on any Bluetooth speaker. Reason why i got it was for pool party's and other water related activities. This thing definitely lives up to its word. I had never heard of Fugoo before this, but the purchase was definitely worth it!

Very disappointed with sound of speaker. Not enough volume. Would not pair with my Samsung bluetooth phone. It would say it was paired but no audio output. Worked when it was hardwired but sound was still disappointing.

we have bought Bluetooth speakers in the past from such names as BOSE and BEATS. this one is hands down the best! it has great bass and is very loud with good sound quality! plus its easy on the eyes as well. matches perfect in our bathroom!
