I have taken the camera out of the packing and read the instructions. It is simple to use with features that he is most likely to use. He was pleased with the slimness and lightness of the camera. It has good zoom and action settings. Auto settings can be used also. He will be using it for family action pictures.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for our 8 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed taking pictures with her mothers cell phone, and wanted to get more into photography. The images she has captured with this little camera are fantastic. It is small enough for her little hands and easy to use. She was able to use it right out of the box. This is really a great beginners camera.

I have a larger Fuji which takes fabulous pictures but it is inconvenient to carry due to its weight and size. So - I got this on sale and compared the pictures. There was little different - this one take very good pictures. It doesn't have a 16 x zoom - but for close ups - it takes great pictures, and obviously is lightweight and easy to carry.

I bought this point and shoot camera on sale before Christmas for $50. It listed for $100. I use it as a decent, small, reliable back-up camera. I am fully satisfied with the photos it has taken so far, both inside and out. Sharp auto focus and proper brightness. It accepts my 16GB SD card, no problem. Though it has 16 mega pixels, I have set it to 5mp, good enough for this back-up camera. It is not possible to set the aperture or shutter speed, but again, okay for a back-up. Camera is fairly lightweight, but seems well constructed and has a quiet operation. I bought a 2 MP Fuji camera 10 years ago and though it is now perhaps obsolete, it still works and it gave me confidence to buy this new one. Also, of interest, this new Fuji is very similar in form, fit and function to my 5 year old Nikon Coolpix S560, 10 MP camera. The Fuji is just slimmer and lighter. So, I recommend this camera when it is on sale. Happy shooting.

Overall, this camera performs very well. The resolution is great, thus making a crisp clean image. The screen and menu are easy to use and have a lot of options so you can tweak things to your liking. Price was good. I recommend this camera for a casual to moderate user that would like an easy camera to toe around & use!

I purchased this camera as a simple point and shoot unit. For such a low cost it does everything I wanted and much more. Probably not as well built as some others, but definenatly worth the money. As long as you're not a gorilla handed knuckle dragger, this camera will hold up well. Great quality shots, HD capable movies, user friendly, and operates similar to all cameras today. Good buy for a simple point and shoot. I recommend it.

I had a nikon which I didn't like due to extreme parallax distortion. This little gem is so much better! Easy to use and easy to understand the settings and it takes great pictures with NO distortion.

Hubby said he loves this camera better than the other he had. He's a truck driver that delivers food to special events which involves celebrities so he didn't want to miss out on this one. He said the camera performed beautifully and was easy to use. He's no camera expert, but the photos all came out very good so he was very pleased.

I bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandaughter. The price was great......got in on a really good sale. I like the size of it for her. She is becoming really interested in photography so it has all she needs to get started. If I didn't already have a really nice point and shoot camera I wouldn't mind having one just like it for myself. The color is really unique too!

This camera is easy to use and produces very good pictures. Macro pictures need some work though. My Galaxy S3 phone produces clearer macros than this camera. A great plus is the removable battery - it allows you to keep a spare on hand. A minus is the lack of a separate charger for the battery - you have to charge the battery in the phone. You can buy a charger and spare battery for less than $10 on ebay. All in all a nice camera for a great price

This camera has lots of functions and filters that make it a good camera for the average user. This camera takes good still shots and decent video, but if you are using it to photograph in low-light or extreme motion action, it might be advisable to use a tripod. Battery life seems to be fine- I charged it fully and used it for several days before it needed to be re-charged again... I would guess it has about a 7-10 hour battery if you were using it constantly- more than enough for your average school event or trip to the zoo. Overall, I am very satisfied with this camera. It is perfect for carrying in a purse or backpack for everyday use. It certainly won't give you all the features of a high-end DSLR, but it performs much better than the cheaper pre-packaged point and shoot. I would suggest this for anyone looking to take decent snapshots or blog photos.

I bought the camera to take pictures to post on E-Bay, but the quality and ease of this camera was so impressive, that I'm photographing everything. This is an excellent camera for the price. It exceeds everything I expected.

Just like the title says, great little camera that gets the job done nicely. Good camera for basic functions and for someone who doesn't want anything fancy or confusing to use. Nice and small compact design as well.

I like this camera because it's so convenient. I've taken videos of my grandson doing his trampoline tricks and it works fine. I'm very pleased with the value.

I need a camera for my up coming cruise, I did not want to risk losing my phone so I brought this camera. great size, it fits in a shirt pocket. Easy to use and with a memory card will store over 3900 pictures.

My 10 year-old nephew wanted a grown-up digital camera with a rechargeable battery. He loves it! So easy to use and affordable. He started taking pictures and changing settings right away, without even reading the instructions.
