A truly outstanding piece of equipment from Fujifilm. I've used a huge range of cameras, from tiny budget point and shoots to the top end premium DSLRs from Sony and Canon. This is my favourite camera of all time. Tac-sharp images, beautiful design, and stunning colour reproduction. I don't even need to shoot RAW with this. I'll pick my film emulation, shoot, wifi to my iPhone and post them online. It's discreet and silent, truly the perfect street camera. Since buying it, it's not left my side once. The X100F has a higher megapixel, but don't let that fool you. This camera produces images straight to JPEG unlike any camera I've ever seen. If this broke or got stolen, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a camera to take snapshots with there are plenty of lesser priced point and shoot cameras that will do a great job for you. But if you're looking to elevate the quality of your photography you'll love this camera! I When you first start shooting with it you'll need to slow down and think about every setting, but it becomes second nature very quickly. Before you know it you will be looking through the viewfinder and seeing composition, light and shadow.

Got this as a replacement camera for my outdated one. This one has excellent picture quality and features, I just wish the size was a bit smaller. Also, the built in wi-fi is spotty. But overall good item.

I have had all earlier versions of this product. It is one of the best compact cameras ever. It has the Fuji magic. You have to use it to believe and see what I mean.

For professional photographers who need a small point and shoot in your life, this camera is perfect. Lots of manual control and shoots in RAW. Probably wouldn't be great for beginners.

Absolutely awesome camera for everything. I also have a DSLR and I choose the Fuji every time I leave the house. Don't hesitate and just get this camera, it will not let you down.

As promised, this camera takes you back to the days of adjusting your own settings for the effects you want, rather than shooting and waiting for post-production to create effects. The only downside is the lack of a zoom lens.

First of all, it is an APS-C sensor with a fixed 23mm F2.0 lens (35mm equivalent). A perfect camera for casual/family gathering, travel, street, and everyday photography. A dream to use. I actually upgraded from the X100S for the subtle updates and WiFi. With the converter lenses, it is a perfect mini-system. Will cover most of your needs and it will make you be creative and learn. I've been shooting full frame dSLR's for some time, but this is my go-to camera. The leaf shutter makes it silent and you can get awesome sync speeds with off-camera flash. I use my Canon speedlites with it (manual only; not ttl). This camera does do video, but it is a photographers camera. I have never used it for video and likely never will. It's not for everyone, but within a few hours you will know if it is for you or not. Is it perfect? No... there is no perfect camera. The battery life is not very good (but aftermarket batteries are dirt cheap), it's not weather sealed. You are limited to ISO 200 - ISO 6400 (not a big deal) if you shoot RAW. I wish it went higher and lower (ISO 50) in RAW. This will be my everyday camera until the next version. I love this camera.

I had the original x100 and it was a lovely camera despite its quirks, like a burst rate that took so long to process that it was completely unusable and finicky autofocus in low light. I finally sold it and found I missed it horribly so I decided to try the new x100T hoping it would fix the quirks yet keep the magic. Best camera decision ever. It did both with flying colors. I skipped the x100S upgrade so I can't speak to it, but the x100T is a HUGE upgrade from the x100. The camera is fast, responsive, the image quality is outstanding, and it is still just as beautiful as its predecessor. There's nothing quite like Fuji files and the x100T lives up to all the hype, the images are sharp, clean, with a 3D quality and really beautiful bokah for a crop sensor camera. The autofocus so far has been spot on. I have absolutely no qualms using this camera on paid client work (I am a professional portrait, event and wedding photographer). For personal work and travel this is all the camera I need, my big heavy DSLR and lenses can stay home. If you are used to a zoom lens you may find the fixed 35mm lens limiting, but I shoot mainly with primes (35mm and 85mm) so this camera can do at least half of my paid work and keep up with my Canon 6D without problems. The autofocus isn't quite as fast as the 6D but for 90% of situations it is plenty fast enough, I do still have my DSLR for flower girls who feel the need to sprint down the aisle. Also, cudos to Best Buy for actually having it in stock- this was the only place where I could find the camera in silver. B&H, Amazon, and Adorama were all backordered.

I'm a Nikon user in both full frame DSLR and compact cameras. Earlier this year, I was looking at the Fujifilm X100s and decided to wait for the next version. I'm glad I waited. After receiving and unboxing the camera...I was surprised how good it felt in my hands. It's definitely a beautiful camera with a solid feel. The buttons and dials are well placed. To me...very intuitive. The silver is a nice change for me and really stands out from my other black cameras. I charged the battery and the initial charge was around 3 hours. My back up battery took the same amount of time. I was able to take around 210 pictures on each battery. I'm sure I will be able to take more pictures per battery as I will be using the menu less and not reviewing pictures on the the LCD as much. There is a learning curve in using this camera. For me it's with the menu system. While the menus are intuitive, I still have to get out of the Nikon-menu mode I'm so familiar with. Not a big issue. If I'm not mistaken, this camera appears to have a lot more settings and user configurations and that's a good thing to have. I've now had this camera for a few weeks and taken a couple hundred pictures. This camera handles low light extremely well and focus is fast. I've used this camera in a trade show where the lighting can be inconsistently bright or harsh and had wonderful results. Outside landscape pictures come out beautifully. As I use this camera more and more, I find I'm not reviewing my pictures on the LCD as much. I'm getting more confidence in using this camera and know what my results will look like. That's how consistent this camera has been for me. I do get a lot of attention with this camera. Just like when I carry around my full frame DSLR. While carrying this Fujifilm on my wrist strap, folks wonder if I'm shooting with film. They are fascinated that it's a digital camera. When I hand over the camera for them to try, they immediately notice the heft and the clear/bright viewfinder. I like the Q-menu system (button) and being able to access settings quickly. I've learned to customize it with the settings I change frequently (e.g. face detection, film modes, focus, etc). Faster than going through the menu and trying to figure out where I saw the setting. I like the included film modes. I've tried the Velvia, Black and White, and Sepia modes with success. I did mention that I'm using a wrist strap. I was visiting my local BB and found the Joby braided nylon DSLR wrist strap. There's a "stopper" on the strap that adjusts around my wrist. When I pull my wrist away from the camera the strap tightens around my wrist. It's a strong and functional strap, The flat part of the strap/cord slips into the included metal triangle strap holder/clip and the leather protector. I highly recommend this wrist strap. I've also purchased the lens adapter and have added a B+W clear nano coated filter. I've used other filter manufacturers and prefer the B+W. filters. They are much better quality and worth the price. I've used the iOS FujiFilm PhotoReceiver app with my iPhone and iPad. It allows me to transfer photos from the X100T camera to my devices. I set my device to WiFi and access the Wireless Connection on the camera. I then open up the PhotoReceiver app on my device and select Connect. The camera and my device makes a connection. I can then go through my camera and select pictures to download. The pictures download instantly and saved on my device. I've also used the iOS Fujifilm CameraRemote with my iPhone. This app allow me to control my camera from the app. Yes, I can press the shutter from my iPhone to take picture with the X100T. It also displays what the camera is seeing before I take a picture from the iPhone. Pretty cool! Other functions include Receive, Browse Camera, and Geotagging. To carry my X100T around with me I have used two bags. One is the ThinkTank Mirrorless Mover 20. It holds the camera, back batteries, charger and cord and has room for my iPhone and keys. It's a good size and not as boxy or bulky like some other bags. The other bag I use is a slender messenger style Lowepro Streamline 250 that I was able to find at my local BB. I like this bag a lot. There's a separate zipper area that has the soft tricot lining and well padded that is perfect for the X100T camera and accessories. Under the flap is two pockets for iPhone and extra batteries. In the main zippered compartment there's a padded section that will fit an iPad Air and the other section can be expanded to hold larger items (papers, wallet, etc). There's also a back pocket on the bag. I'm glad I made this purchase. I'm going to enjoy growing with this camera and learning it's capabilities and consistently produce beautiful pictures.
