One of the best military movies ever mde in my opinion. Could maybe use a sequel but i guess not. Would totally recommend to any military movie fanatics.

Another well told story through Kubrick's powerful direction. The acting and script kept me transfixed and before I realized it the movie was over. War...what a waste.

You can really tell the 4K upgrade is there. Awesome movie that now is presented better. Steelbook is cool too.

The 4k transfer of this film is beautifully done and the film never looked better. I have owned DVD and blu ray copies and it is worth the upgrade.

My wife and I were actually recommended this movie by another best buy patron while we were shopping, since it was part of a buy 2 get one free deal we grabbed it. This movie is probably the funniest military movie of all time!

Experience Boot Camp once again without the Pain & Frustration! If your kid wants to join the forces give them a taste of how it was in the late 60's early 70's Much has changed since then but somethings are never totally different.

My brother used to play this over and over again... He is an army man and it always brought him back to reality... Great movie!!! A must see for all families with relatives or friends that are thinking about or going to the army.

One of the best Vietnam era war movies ever made. The first half of the movie during basic training is riveting. The second half in Vietnam captures the insanity of the war perfectly. A must see for any Stanley Kubrick fan.

What can be said about this film that hasn't already been said about it before. This film is a classic. The transfer is done well. Recommended pick up

Starts out at a nice pace. As it continues it gets more intense. Then it gets VERY interesting ! By the end, you can't tear your eyes off the screen ! Not suitable for the younger children, in my opinion.

Love this movie, and having the HD version made it all the better. It is a shame they didn't update the sound to HD, it is the same as the DVD, Dolby Digital.

The late Stanley Kubrick was a genius. All his films are classic and are shot with 70mm cameras. That’s why his films are better than 4K movies.

Now on the 12th steelbook shipped to me by Best Buy that came in damaged (dented and bent) due to poor packaging, that's including the replacements. Best Buy needs to wake up and ship these metal steelbook cases in BOXES!!!!! Otherwise then that the artwork is amazing and a great classic movie.

This is one of my favorite movies. I already owned it on VD, but I just needed to have it on blu-ray. We recently bought a new TV for our bedroom, and are in the process of switching all of our movies to blu-ray when possible.

Stanley Kubrick in 4K? What’s not to like? Another great 4K transfer of a great Kubrick title. Must own if you’re a fan of his.

This has been on my list for years to get on DVD. Could never find it, so when I bought a Blu-ray it was an instant purchase! Stanley Kubrick is a genius and I think made one of his best films with Full Metal Jacket.

Awesome war movie it’s about time this Stanley Kubrick Classic got the 4K treatment and the steelbook case is pretty neat
