This is one of the best mainstream animes I have ever seen. The whole series on six discs. If you're a true anime fan definitely pick this up.

Bought this as a gift for nephew. Was a great deal (deal of day) I'm not familiar with the particulars of the series but nephew loved it

While this adaptation is amazing this series was made before the manga was finished, in fact only around the first five episodes. So if you are wanting to watch the anime that stays closer to the manga hunt down full metal alchemist brotherhood

This Blu ray is excellent even if you haven't read the original manga. Give you a real favor of the whole series.

It is anime that has humor, action, graphic content, and heavy subjects (for me at least) overall it's great!
