    I remember watching this film on cable in the 1980's. I have always liked it. Not the best Chevy movie by any means, but a short decent comedy. NEVER understood the car the characters drove in it. Anyone ever see a top on that thing? Like it is 80 degrees all year long right. I do not remember that this film did that well at the box office. The 2 flaws in this DVD package: 1. The film is NOT wide screen Come on DVD makers, the character in the film is the Red Bud city/area they moved to. So, we the DVD buyers are cheated out of seeing it & 2. These GLAD THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM ANYMORE card board DVD case. These things are terrible. Anyway, if you like quiet, simple story comedies you will like this film.

    This movie is so cute...and my family and I love it!! If you really like the down home feeling, then this is the movie to get that could really come close to everyday experiences. This is a great love story and comedy all in one! WE LOVE THIS MOVIE, great for the holiday's.

    Funny Farm is a really good movie, unfortunately the dvd is not. True fans of the film may still want to indulge anyway...
