Great for making jelly. Easy to use. Clean up of screen can be difficult at time depending upon what fruit you are putting through it.

I only use this during the fall time, but when I do it doesn’t stop running. I have 30 fruit trees, most of which are apple. I uses this for loads of apples to make my apple sauce. What would normally take a long time is knocked out quickly and does most of the work. I literally pick the apples, cut them in large chunks and cook them till a little softer than drop them into this strainer. The strainer makes a nice textured sauce and pushes the skin, seeds and stem out as waste. So if you ever make apple sauce, you need this to make your life easier.

the Kitchenaid attachments really make the whole thing worth the purchase. allows you to save space instead of having a ton of devices for the kitchen.

I use the fruit and vegetable strainer for making applesauce and tomato soup and many other recipes. It is a great asset.

I bought this as a gift for my son & daughter in law. They love & use their Kitchen Aide Mixer for everything so was the perfect addition for them to have to make baby food. The apple sauce comes out so great. An easy way to make healthy, no additives, baby food for their daughter.

I had to buy this replacement because I used a plastic spoon to push the apple piece down, but then it got caught in the grinder. Never did it mention to use the given piece that comes with this kit. But I learned from my mistake.

Although this was not for me I have to say my wife loves it. She makes tomato soup and spaghetti sauce from garden grown tomato's and just loves the results.

I have ran hundreds of pounds of tomatoes through these in my life. This is a very solid tool. Be aware of large and hard seeds in some fruits.

Recommend this item for anyone that does a lot of canning tomato juice!!! Makes juicing so much easier & faster!!!

Now I can make pasta sauce and humus at home without any additive. It is good to have it.

Wish I would have known about this attachment earlier. Takes most of the work out of making homemade sauce.
