Decent gameplay, but a little difficult to control/understand some of the "rules of combat". Part of that could be because I don't play run-and-gun games. Cool designs, missions, and art, but the real fun in this is the story, and the nostalgia of it all. Strangely, I seem to do better playing as Cobra than as the Joes.

Single Game play is Cool but Co OP Has that Old School Spit Screen Top and Bottom. I wanted all my Adult Hood For a GI Joe it's the Only Reason I Purchased

This is for old school Joe fans of the 89s like myself. There is a patch coming soon people, so don’t worry. They are going to fix the movement and are listening to the fans really well about this game.

If you enjoy simple to play shooting games than gi jpe blackout has you covered. The problem is the shooting can be inaccurate, its like enemies know where your crosshair is at all times. The shooting really hurts the game overrall. The bright point of the game is the story is very faithful to the gi joe brand. If the shooting was better I could rate the game higher. There is some fun here but it comes in small doses.

never heard of the game so i decided to buy it after looking at its graphics. grew up on the comic book and cartoon, the game is pretty good

Somewhat repetitive gameplay, but visuals definitely remind you of the original series. Not sure how much this will stay in "personal rotation."

A nice flashback to my youth. Game is ok, but still fun. It reminds me of the PS2 SOCOM games. I would recommend

A great game. It was fun playing with all the greats from the classic cartoon. Lots of action and loads of fun.

And now I know this game is terrible. I was excited about this because I watched GI Joe cartoons when I was a younger man. But then the game arrived and I played it and all of my enthusiasm was curbed. The game play itself is awful. Terrible movement and aiming. Don't even try to use melee because you can't fight the enemy that is shooting you. You'll end up swinging wildly at empty air. The acting and voices and even the sound effects...(Storm Shadow climbing the stairs sounds like a horse walking in a Western from the 1950's. Isn't he a ninja?)...All terrible. There are "cut scenes" that are just stills and look like my drawings of GI Joe from 6th grade. And the whole thing looks like a Borderlands rip-off, an aesthetic I'm not a fan of anyway in a much better game. I haven't played it enough to be Snake Eyes yet, which is everyone's goal I assume, but I also assume it'll be just as dull and awkward to play. GI Joe deserves better. This will be traded, probably by the weekend.

Loving game, compared to other games I have graphics are excellent

this is a fun game for family. kids loved it. good game for the series lovers.

My main gripe is the controls. It's kind of like trying to drive a car with four flat tires. I would really recommend trying before you buy or waiting for a steep discount.

As an 80s child and having much loved for anything 80s and especially Gijoe and Transformers, I gave it a 3. Thai game really deserves a 2 because of game play and it's boring...I wish they can make real good quality games for Gijoe Transformers, HeMan and Thundercats!

good game if you are a GI Joe fan , not a lot of depth here but still cool to see the art style and fan favorites

Game allows you to play as GI Joe, or Cobra Character, Very Hard Mode provides the biggest Challenge!

Fun game, just not too long. It brings me back from my childhood being a GI Joe fan.

I've been a fan of GI Joe since I was a kid and bought this game for nostalgias sake. I was expecting it to be just average but I'm surprised to say it is way above my expectations. A little bit hard when playing by yourself but nothing out of this world.
