    I purchased this Gdrive USB 3.O online on 12/21/16 and finally received today 12/28/16.... hooked it up to my iMac and nothing, absolutely nothing except for the back up drive making clicking noises. My IMac didn't even recognize the device. I called Apple Care support to double check the computer , which they couldn't find anything wrong with the iMAC. Bottom line is that this back up unit I received has got to be defective. the Apple tech said that the back up drives should be quiet and definitely not make clicking noises. Hi ho Hi ho its off to Best Buy I go for a return! Too bad they don't have these in the stores for an immediate exchange,
