I have owned several large capacity drives in the past. They all served their purpose well, but they all lacked one thing SPEED! I decided to give this G drive a GO, and I am so happy I did. It feels almost twice as fast as the other brands and it is built like a Tank in an all-metal case to boot. I will buy again.

G-Technology have always made great drives and this one is no exception. In the past I have been wary of 4TB drives; too many eggs in one basket ... This one drive gives me confidence, I compiled almost 3 TB of footage onto it, without any issues.

We already had one G-Drive (4TB), so we knew it was quality and worked well for our needs. When we needed to expand because the other G-Drive was full, it was a no-brainer to get another one. The 8TB was on sale, but wasn't immediately available, or we would have gotten that one.

I love it! My onl wish is I wish it came with Crandall to stack. I have two now and don’t like stacking directly on top of each other as they get warm. I bought this as my friend had one and I was visiting her and bought it while there but it didn’t come with the stand as hers did

Easy set up, decent transfer speed and great value for a second external backup option.

I got this hard drive to back up and transfer to my new computer. the hard drive comes with both regular usb and usb-c which makes it really easy to use on my old mac and my new mac. highly recommend this harddrive. a plus about this product is how quiet it is.

I tried to get a WD drive to work with my Mac and I had so many issues. I exchanged it for this G-Technology G Drive and haven't had an issue since. Weirdly enough, this drive is a WD product. Who knows, but it works well for Mac and is super fast.

Great hard drive. I'm a wedding photographer and shoot roughly 25 weddings a year. These hard drives handle large resolution images well. Not as great as SSD but for the price you can't beat it.

If you have lots of file on your computer be careful you computer can get damage and all your files will be gone, sugestión have your file in three places :-) the computer/the cloud and on a external hard drive, the speed to save documents work so nice

One of the best hard drives for the price. I’ve never had any issues I’ve used it for product design, video editing, etc since 2014. Currently purchasing another as an external drive for my Apple.

We have purchased this product multiple times from Best Buy. This product has helped our business tremendously with the ability to store large amounts of data, whether that be pictures or videos.

So far, so good. Very heavy duty, but works great. Very fast external HD due to the USB-C connection, and seems like the type of HD one wants for quality and durability. No complaints.

The young man at the store recommended this for my iMac and seems to be working well!

This is a great external hard drive . It’s fast and 4 tb worthy

It’s a little large for 4TB, but I wanted a stand-alone storage device for my media. It is also well built and sturdy so no bumps or easy scratches for this hard drive

I really needed this 4TB external hard drive as it encouraged me to develop a regular backup plan for my PC, The drive can be formatted to work jointly with MACs too!

This 4 GB hard drive works exactly as it should with no problems what so ever. I have it hooked up to a 2016 MacBook Pro and have been using it for about a month and a half. I split the drive so that part of it is my Time Machine back up and the other part will be a (2nd) clone. I have been disappointed with other brands in the past holding up and hopefully this G Drive will live up to it's superior reputation.

Fast reading and writing capabilities. Very resourceful for those who edit film and pictures or even store your music. Saves your I eternal hard drive and keeps your computer free with available RAM.
