I purchased this drive to make routine backups of my windows desktop pc, using Acronis True Image. It does so with great speed, and with no issues. I love that it has an on/off switch on its rear, so I can leave it hooked up permanently to my machine and to its power supply. It is clearly extremely well made, and looks like it will last for at least 5 more years.

The drive did what I needed and did it quickly. The transfer speeds exceeded my requirements but the cost was higher than a comparable USB3 drive by a factor of 2 with half the capacity. But I am happy with the performance and that is what counts.
