I love this laptop that I can use as a tablet as well. I do need to utilize the tablet more but this is something I need to explore to take advantage of all that this great computer offers! I do a lot of video conferencing, and when I purchased the laptop, I stressed this to the salesperson. Well... camera started out crystal clear and within a few months, I got this purple haze when using it. I thought it was because I was using Zoom but I checked with apps e.g. Skype and YouTube. It's horrible! I've contacted Geek Squad online and they tried and said it was fixed. On one occasion, they asked me to visit the store. I did and received a replacement. However, the problem is still there. In addition, it will not allow me to use the Zoom feature of virtual background without using a green screen! I bought a slower processor for my office and it does not require a green screen for Zoom! In conclusion, I really wish I could use all of this computer's features but the most important one for my work, doesn't work as promised. If so, 5+stars and 5 stars for service.

This computer was built to hit a price point. Where it suffers most is the screen resolution. Compared to the Retnal Display on my 3rd gen iPad it looks horrible. Shortly after purchasing my computer I had to reinstall Windows to correct a networking error. A tech at Best Buys was EXTREEMLY helpful resolving my computer's issue but I wouldn't have thought that I would have had to do major maintenance on a brand new computer like that but I did. Now I'm left wondering if this will be a reoccurring problem with this unit so my confidence in it is low. The touch pad feels like I'm rubbing a golfball. I would have preferred it to have been smooth. It's a very wide laptop so it's portability suffers. On the good side the screen is fairly large. The good so far: -Price, bought it with a bundle package. -Faster start up and shutdown than I would have expected -Current operating system -Windows Defender, third party security software not needed -Quick one touch Airplane mode ON/OFF button. Over all I think it's a great computer, for the price. A high res screen would have made me very satisfied.

I bought this computer for a great deal loved it up until a week ago I was using my computer for school ( primary use) I shut it down closed it and put it away didn't touch it till the next afternoon. Much to my surprise I opened it and saw with horror that their was a large crack on my screen.frantic to see if it still worked I turned it on and all was fine.so I carried on like normal but now when I'm in the middle of something ( last night it was an exam ) it will shut down automatically and I don't know why other than that no complaints.

Purchased this laptop as part of a bundled promo for my high school aged son basically for the price assuming the worst from him that it would break or get lost. Geek Squad support was part of the bundle and have used them multiple times and they are awesome. Laptop is very nice, easy to set up and use and has an excellent screen. My only regret was not buying one or two more.

Hp makes a good product and I have used their printers for years but this is the first computer. I hope it is as good as their printers. The only down side is the warranty and support system.

very happy with the purchase. bought as a present for wife and she loves it. the only draw back in my perspective is getting used to windows 8.

Over all I like it, but the sensitive mouse pad and the idea that I have to sign in every time I close the lid I don't like.

Bought this for my son, for xmas. He is a freshman in high school- meets his needs and I was the best mom ever, for getting it for him! He absolutely loves it and has used it non-stop since he receivrd it! Holds a charge well, uploads quickly, and mwets everday use requirements. It doesn't have a lot of space on it, but serves its purpose gor playing games, Web surfing, and watching DVD's.

Purchased as a bundle with sleeve, Logitech wireless mouse, Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security (one yr/one computer), and flash drive for just over four hundred total. Battery life much improved over my previous HP - 5-6 hrs in use; more on standby. Boots up in about 6 seconds so far with tons of memory free. Hopefully it continues. Very happy with this laptop after 3 months.

This is an overall good laptop. However don't expect major gaming on it, it won't run bf3 or cod bo 2 or anything but it runs flight pretty well. I mainly use it for graphic arts and design photoshop and auto desk 3ds max run great. Good for using as a main computer. The only downside is windows 8. It's clunky and obstructive when using the track pad. I recommend a wireless mouse

This is the very first computer I've ever owned. I have used the company computers & friend's stuff. I have to say that for as picky & frugal as I am when it comes to personal tools (particularly technology), this was an extremely good choice for me. It's been an easy transition from the company's network to this. So far, it does everything I need & more.

It's for my 8 YO son. Serves his class work and gaming purposes. Windows 8 takes practice

My daughter loves her new laptop. This is a great laptop for a young college student.

Good product, but wish it would not freeze so much

Everything is ok about this computer, except for the operating system (Windows 8), because it still haves a lot of troubles running all my prograrms and apps.

took some getting used to the windows 8 program and set up other than that great computer my old one was outdated and this one is so much better...the pavilion g6 has come a good ways in 5 years...

overall good laptop for the money. touch pad a little too touchy. when moving curser sometimes clicks on things when not wanting to. works much better with Logitech wireless mouse.

I am very happy with my purchase The best buy team in Holland was very easy to work with. I will buy from them again. Windows 8 takes some getting use to.
