Slogan fits true, inspired by the past made for the future. It looks so adorable in my dorm, and do not regret stumbling upon this rarity of a microwave. The knob (when turned right) is a little tricky to understand, but by turning the knob left you can set the seconds to cook a meal easier.

For the money it is hard to beat and is extremely easy to use.

It really is a beautiful appliance. Its nice to break away from the over-the-stove monstrosities that we can find in almost every home and see a radical retro style - especially in the Hot Rod Red design; which closely resembles CocaCola red color (PMS 484) should you have a diner/retro theme or schema in your room. Chrome accents are sexy. Features and function are basic, yet easy to use. I could even see a millennial figuring out how to heat up their Pizza rolls/Hot Pockets with no problem at all! Small footprint is nice, but keep in mind you won't be able to reheat/cook anything too large - but its perfect for heating water for tea, ramen noodles, instant coffee, etc. Melts & softens butter like a dream. A great bang for the buck here, and well suited for a mini-bar, movie room, home office, dorm, studio apt, etc. Also, there is a matching fridge that looks AMAZING!

I have twins about one the red microwave and the other this blue microwave with the matching refrigerators same namebrand this microwave is compact very cute the color is awesome different than what you would usually get it was a good choice

Cute little microwave. Just not super powerful . But we don’t mind because it still gets the job done and it’s so cute. It’s a little small

For the record, I have not owned a microwave in over six years ever since my wife and I collectively decided to eat healthier an opted with the alternative of using a toaster oven instead. But when that oven broke and needed replacing, we decided to entertain the concept of nuking our food again. Besides, our kids are in their teens and convenience trumps health in the age of personal pizzas and frozen burritos. You know, the American teenage diet. The Hot Rod Red retro microwave by Galanz is a fun way to decorate your tiny kitchen or your small spaced kitchen apartment in the city. The red retro look beats the ordinary white microwave ovens in décor any day, hands down! There are different retro colors to select. I must say, that if there are any office managers out their reading this review, please listen up. This is a great addition to your old moldy microwave oven in that employee breakroom of yours that is in serious need of replacement. Get this instead! The size and the added presets make this one ideal. Did I mention it comes with a clock? The oven is great for families with young children also. It prides of having a safety child lock feature, which makes sense since the oven does resemble a toy. But watch out if you have not owned a microwave in a while, like our family. I did have a few serious safety discussions with all my kids regarding abstaining from putting aluminum covered food in the microwave a couple of times. The era of wrapping their burritos with aluminum foil is over. Honestly, I almost forgot some of the nuances of how soggy food comes out. What can I say, microwaves are microwaves. Operating the oven is quite simple and easy to navigate. The presets do come in handy. I do have one small suggestion, I wish that it did have a modification option on the popcorn feature next time, not all microwavable popcorn come in a 3.5 oz bag. It simply said auto on the preset. No one likes burnt popcorn on movie nights. Overall, I am satisfied with the looks, its size and for the ease of use. Thanks, Galanz.

This is exactly what I needed, a small microwave that doesn't take up a lot space, that cooks & reheats with no problems. The fact that I love the color & it fits into my decorating scheme is a great plus!

I love my trendy, surf green compact microwave. It's perfect for me as it doesn't take up much counter space. Good for heating up small items as a compliment to complete kitchen appliances.

I bought this microwave to match my new galanz refrigerator. Cool retro styling, lightweight, and intuitive controls. Plus it doesn’t take up as much room as my older unit.
