A great movie for sci Fi fans and star trek fans what if the actors of your favorite sci-fi show fought aliens in real life

Tim Allen does a great job of leading this enjoyable cast of characters. It is a fun flick throughout; humor and adventure abound. And you get to see Rainn Wilson in his film debut, before he became renowned TV personality Dwight Schrute!

I love this movie! I love the story! I love the cast! It's one of those movies you hate to see end. Definitely a movie you will watch over and over again & thoroughly enjoy it each time! A+++++++++++++

I simply purchased this because I saw it in the $5.99 bargain bin. I had owned it on normal DVD for the longest time & simply wanted to upgrade the quality for cheap. It's nothing special, as far as extras are concerned, & there's no digital code., but it serves its purpose in good, fun, cheap entertainment!

If you want a film that really makes you laugh and quote along, please watch this film. The blu-ray transfer is awesome. Cinematography looks great, as does the sound quality. "It turned inside out... and then it exploded" = AWESOME! Watch this film, you won't be disappointed.

This movie is very entertaining if you have the appropriate expectations. Star Trek fans who take that series too seriously may be offended; those who don't will find numerous "similarities". It won't increase your cultural IQ, but is very good, mindless amusement.

I love this movie and how ridiculous it is. Tim Allen is good in this and he entertains. There are acting moments that feel silly or forced, not always intentionally moments for style. The aliens are endearing and I enjoy the story. It’s a show within a show, but it’s fun and very rewatchable.

Quite funny comedy about actors on a cancelled sci-fi TV show who now have to make their living appearing at suburban fan conventions and mall openings. When some typically odd convention goers ask for their help combating an alien invasion they go along with the gag, only to find out it's not a gag! Some very good special effects.

This is a movie that keeps your interest from beginning to end. It has a wide mixture of human emotion with excellent commedy. It was a breath of fresh air to the sci fi movie scene. It's a great movie for the whole family.

Galaxy Quest is a wonderful and entertaining movie which deserved a larger box office success. It is the "Princess Bride" of pseudo science fiction movies. It belongs in everyone's library.

Totally goofy film that pokes fun at Trekies with the added bonus that it stars film greats including (but not limited to) Alan Rickman, Tom Allen, and Sigourney Weaver. Special effects are decent, plot line is fun and doesn't drag, and the writing is excellent.

I owned this movie on DVD, and it's REALLY hard to watch DVD resolution these days! Best Buy offered a great price on Galaxy Quest on Blu Ray, and I just had to get it! Great to watch again, especially since Alan Rickman has passed away. Same fun, better image!

I remember watching this when I was a young kid. It has always stuck with me because even at the age of 6 I thought it was hilarious (especially Alan Rickman's make up. This film is a great film for those who love comedy and science fiction.

For some reason, l enjoy wacky sci-fy type movies, and this movie really fits that category! The characters are fun and the plot moves along briskly, and best of all, it has a happy conclusion! Couldn't ask for more from a movie. l usually don't care for comedies, but this one is a keeper!

This is a great movie. Sure, it is a bit campy and was originally not meant to be a family movie but it is a fun Sci-Fi romp. Humor, action, and a great role from the always wonderful Alan Rickman.

This movie is a hidden gem of the sci-fi spoof genre. Totally awesome, in that it subtly pokes at other space fairing sci-fi movies from the point of view of the actors. Nothing else like it. Very original!

This little space comedy/Star Trek parody stands the test of time. Of course, Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman will be familiar; but you'll also recognize actors you've seen in other movies now, and you'll have fun making comparisons with the Star Trek TV series. Good fun--especially for fans.

This movie is the parody of Star Trek as I realize as an adult. Also, I loved watching this movie on dvd, when they included the deleted scenes and behind the scenes.

I first got this move on DVD. Since then I've moved on to Blu Ray and picked this up. It is better in Blu Ray for the quality and the story never gets old. Also some more/different extra features that I did not have on my original one.
