Been waiting forever to finalize series. Ok final season, they kept stretching out series, should have only had 6 seasons, HBO kept milking the cow for more money. If your a fan you will want to own it.

The Game of Thrones: Season 8 Sigil Blu-ray has great sound and video quality. I know most people didn't like the 8th season and maybe it objectively should have been better, but show running the largest TV show ever probably isn't easy. The production quality for the show is great and is definitely visible from this blu-ray set. I do wish that the Best Buy Sigil sets hadn't decreased in quality starting with the 6th season, but I do still like having a matching set for this series.

Mind you, many of us were disappointed in the final season. Apparently, those responsible were offered a Star Wars universe gig and they decided to rush the ending to what should have been at least two more seasons. Still, there are several noteworthy moments, and it's always a joy to follow both the exploits of Tyrion bannister and Arya Stark. The blu is nice, but does not improve upon the darkness that so many complained about. Sound quality is exceptional. Worth the purchase? Only if you must complete your collection.

I was hesitant to purchase Season 8 because of all the scathing reviews. But from my experiences, I've found critics are more often wrong than right. Season 8 stays true to the original story line of GOT: conflict, clashes, tension, surprises and some humor. As for the ending - I found it to be very satisfying and complete. Kudos to the writers of GOT for delivering a great story.

The season as everyone knows was not good. I only bought this to complete the collection.

The final season of GoT’s is a pretty polarized topic now-a-days, with far more hate than love, but I was super excited to see Best Buy close the Sigil cover series out with this beautiful release! The audio & visual were definitely an upgrade from Streaming off HBO Go the first time around! A must buy if you are looking to complete the set!!

A must have if you are a fan and to complete one of the greatest series in current times. Also, only in best buy blu-ray sigil covers are amazing! The blu-ray discs come with extra hours of interviews, how things were filmed, extended footage and commentaries to enhance the viewers experience! Definitely recommend to purchase.

I will only review the package itself. I am trying my best not to think about Season 8 anymore. I bought this because I own every single other Best-Buy-exclusive GoT season. It fits with those perfectly in design and has everything you want in the package (except for 4K).

I think they really heard the people complain about how dark the battle was. It was great that they decided to lighten it. The ending was as expected because it had to be. The Starks were always the most important. Although everyone else loved Dani, it was not her destiny. I was disappointed the end felt rushed, not the storyline.

Most people would probably be disappointed by the ending to the GoT series. Although I felt the ending could have been much better, there is no denying how great some of the episodes were in this season like the Battle of Winterfell and King's Landing. Hopefully the books will give fans the ending they really wanted.

It was fine. It felt like some of the characters were leading one way, but then they went a different way within the span of one episode. I suspect that's what a lot of people didn't like about it. I also didn't like what happened to one of my favorite characters, but it is what it is.

little high on price for only 6 episodes but you have to buy it

If you're a GOT fan, you must have this set as the finale to the other 7 seasons (recommend that box set as well). This was one of the most original shows on TV and can be enjoyed for years since it is not dated. The story lines are classic and will relate to all generations.

I still found this entertaining and am not amongst the group that is upset because it didn’t end the way they were hoping or the group that acts like it ruined all other seasons for them. Was there some things that could be better, sure. Still good in my opinion.

Yes, I know it is with mix feelings we all had for season 8, but at least there is an ending (however disappointing it maybe). This is a nice ending collection of the series with the best buy exclusive edition if you have been collecting since they start making them in season 3.

What can I say, it’s GOT. Sure the last season wasn’t great, but if you’re like me and have collected all of the other seasons, you have to complete it with the last season. Picked up the sigil version as I’ve collected mostly the sigil versions though I prefer Steelbook.

Note that the four star review is for the Best Buy Exclusive Slip Cover ONLY. At the time I began collecting GOT, they hadn't released the SteelBooks yet...and besides, I like the House Sigil designs anyway. However, I have to say the three-eyed raven on this exclusive slip cover is a little disappointing and bland. I know that Bran Stark took a three eyed raven as his sigil, and if the cover had been the raven in sigil form, it would have matched the rest of the Slip Cover series. As far as the final season, I know it has divided the fans of the series, and I won't add to the fire...however, in my humble opinion, Game of Thrones is the GREATEST television series of all time.

I know a lot of people didn't like the ending, but I loved it. The battle with the white walkers episode was the best episode of television I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine any other ending for a beautiful show.
