On second viewing of season 8 after original premiere, I have to say what is here is good but what is missing is very obvious. Questions about glaring omissions become heightened: why didn't Varys conspire with Uncle Greyjoy to kill the remaining dragons, only to have Uncle Greyjoy betray Varys by letting the dragons live unbeknownst to Varys (then of course Uncle Greyjoy tell Cersai the dragons are dead!). Then when Dani calls Varys out at Greystone and he sees the two dragons waiting to burn him alive, he is shocked and we are overjoyed by the brilliance of the plot. But alas this was not to be! Still great TV though.

This is the final best buy "exclusive" steelbook for GOT. This time around it is being released as a 4K/blu ray package. I really wish it would have been released this way from the beginning. Now I have 7 blu ray seasons and one released in 4K. Consistency really seems to be lacking from studios in the physical media department. The magnet is much bigger and stronger on this release as well. The style however is similar to the previous releases. I was able to buy one of the three my store had only after It was exchanged due to a boxcutter slash on the spine. I noticed this in the parking lot before I even left.

I love Game of Thrones series! I am so sad to see it go, but i was so excited for season eight to air on HBO. And now blu-ray and digital hd. After purchasing this blu-ray. I received the code for the digital copy and i was able to watch before the blu-ray release. I have also been collecting all of the GOT Sigils. Best Buy is the only place that you can get the blu-ray with the sigils. I can't wait for the release date. I love all the behind the scenes and special features of the blu-ray disc.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is a fitting end to the HBO series although there are number of die hard fans that did not think it should have ended as it did. - No spoilers - I for one liked the entire series and being a completist I had to have this one too. The effects are what you would hope for. Using the Digital Code was very easy and I now have the series anywhere I can access my digital library.

Excellent show. To complete my series set, I bought the blu-ray with digital code. The discs don't come out until December but purchasing this way allowed me to get the code to see the show again right away before the discs come out. Really like being able to do that. Binge the whole series and it all comes together.

Getting the code almost 4 months prior to the Blu-Ray release was great. I didn’t want to have to sign up for hbo just see the final season after just binging the first 7. And honestly didn’t mind the final season like others but had only invested a short time watching.

I purchased the season 1-7 set so buying season 8 was a given. Getting the digital code for free was terrific. It came the same day and quality on VUDU was very good. My one complaint is no ATMOS on the VUDU version, but then something new when the physical disks arrive.

Some might not like how it turned out but you have to at least be happy we were able to see so many great season's and characters over the years. If you just blame D&D then you are wrong and should blame George R.R. Martin also for anything you don't like about it.

I for one was very much fulfilled and entertained by GOT's closing season. More is brought full circle than critics would credit, and the shock moments characteristic of the series are still plentiful in these six episodes.

A lot of controversy over the ending, but I still enjoyed GOT immensely! This particular product is fantastic because they send you a digital code to view/save online. You don't have to even open the package (won't come until December anyway).

This is a the best TV in the history of entertainment. Everything was wonderful except the ending is kind of awkward. It's seems like the director and writer took a short cut at the end because they ran out of ideas.

Game if thrones is the best TV show that was yes was on TV it sad they ended after putting so much into a movie and rating s so high but you need to bendge watch you will see what I mean love ya game of thrones

While I agree with the nay-sayers that the finale seemed a bit rushed, I have no complaints with the final season. I admit to being bummed at some deaths, I knew some characters, even favorites, would have to perish

As far as I care this is a great package of DVD's to finish out the season of Game of Thrones, It may not be as good some of the episodes but it is a finish of the whole series until they start the off shoots

I got this early access digital copy of season 8 for preordering the best buy exclusive edition of the season. It's a great bonus. The entire season is available anywhere i want it any time i want it.

I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but it will be a day when I can binge watch it. I have avoided hearing anyone else tell me how it ends so I’m looking forward to watching.

The final season of Game of Thrones I pre-ordered but got the digital download as part of it so I was able to watch the episodes when I want on my laptop :-) Great bonus feature!

There's always extra goodies in the actual set, but this will tide me over until it gets here. In the meantime, I get to watch it over and over again.

The ending of the great HBO series Game of Thrones was not what I expected but it was still good. I recommend everyone watch this series because I think it is that good.

I loved Season 8 don't care what other people think. FANTASTIC. Thank you Best Buy for the advance digital code...looking forward to getting my 4K Steelbook!
