I waited several years for this series to run its complete course on HBO feeling confident that it would eventually release as a 4K box set. The real surprise thanks to Best Buy is a Limited Edition SteelBook release!

Not a good ending, but still has a great beginning. The steelbook set is gorgeous!

Finally 4K steelbooks!! Beautiful and the case for the 8 of the them is not bad either! Only problem is the Digital Download is not 4K... But that's the third party companies fault

Am a big-time GoT fan and having this was a no-brainer to revisit some of the episodes that were streamed live and were a bit darker at the time. The visual upgrades with the discs is amazing!

OK, sure...the ending was rushed. But I still find this to be one of the greatest long form stories every told. And in 4K, that telling looks and sounds amazing. Very happy to have this in my collection.

It would have been great if the second disk of the bonus features would have functioned correctly. I returned this for a refund due to dysfunctional bits. $230 is what I paid, can't double check the burn at that price? It's ludicrous how lazy the world has become! If you can get working copies, 4k uhd is the only way to go!

4k quality is stunning. Took one star out because shipping made some dents on the box.

Beautiful set, but the steel box was dented and is not level on the top of the box.

This review isn’t for the the show, but the discs that were packaged in this set. Most of the discs played fine but would stall at various points during the episode. One of the discs was un-readable when I tested on three different UHD blu ray players. I had to keep a list of all the discs I had issues with and as of this review I have nine discs with playback issues. I also bought both season one and season eight on UHD blu ray before this box set was released and they work without issues. It’s hard to tell without testing but I’m pretty sure they cut corners in the production of these discs and that’s why so many people are having issues. I’m currently trying to see if there is an accurate way to replace the discs from this box set with working discs. Please note that the digital copy only works on VUDU, is only 1080p, and doesn’t have additional audio tracks or subtitles other than English.

Best tv show ever. A 4K must have if you ask me. The steelbook collection is beautiful. I read some reviews that they came incomplete with some missing discs but I fortunately did not experience that issue.

Game of Thrones has never looked better. Especially the episodes that were really dark before. The packaging however, Is pretty badd. I have had 2 of these collections, and both had huge dents in them.

packaging is excellent and thoughtful. incredible 4k presentation. digital streaming code only lets you stream in 1080p off vudu, which is an almost worthless addition. i don’t know why it was included.

Beautiful set, and for a limited edition, a great price. Look forward to seeing this in UHD on physical media for the GoT Iron Anniversary!

Exquisite quality on the disks. As an owner of S1 and S8 in 4K, I’ve been holding out for this collection. The Dolby Atmos tracks win out and the Dolby Vision really shines when you wanted it to.

Fantastic television would recommend to anyone anytime anywhere,just that good.

Excellent set with amazing picture quality and sound. The steels are nice and housed well protected, but don’t expect Best Buy to ship it very well, sadly. The tin will have dents and dings.
