The mount gets the job done on my work car (a Crown Victoria) but just wont attach properly to my 2014 Chevy Impala.

Not what I expected looked bigger online, than when I returned it. So I returned it, also on can with my order better suited of this Item.

I have a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan and the "air vent mount" fits quite securely. It does prevent up and down adjustment of the vent it is attached to. It allows sideways adjustment of the vent. And, of course, it does block some of the air from the vent. It is the best place for my Garmin.

this mount works very well for my use. i wanted to mount my Garmin on the left side of my steering wheel. the windshield suction cup mount created too much glare. mounting on my air vent eliminated most of the glare for me.

I purchased this vent-mounted device to avoid cluttering my windshield visibility. Just took a 7-hour trip yesterday and the device kept my Garmin 3590LMT mounted as advertised. However, the screw-down clamps that grab onto your car's vent fins are too short to give the user real confidence that the unit will remain in place. Why on earth Garmin didn't extend the length of these fin clamps is beyond me -- it would be so easy to do?

Got a new Prius and wanted to mount my Garmin GPS. Using the standard Garmin suction cup mount, I couldn't find a good place to mount the GPS as the windshield has a deep slant and the dashboard is textured. So I opted for an air vent mount. I initially purchased the cheaper air vent mounts, but because of the shape of the Prius air vents, they were unable securely hold the GPS in place. So I "bit the bullet" and spent more (6 times more that the cheap air vent mounts) for this unit. This unit installed in seconds and holds the GPS securely. If you have a Prius I would highly recommend getting this air vent mount first, and not wasting any money on the cheaper ones.

This is a simple vent mount, works very well, and was able to mount it on a not square vent. Have my Garmin mounted vertical, and there is no vibration or problems. Would surely recommend.

works beautifully in my truck. will not work in my car. only because of vent direction. small, sturdy, out of way.

This air vent mount works great, exactly what we expected.

Garmin air vent mount is used on new 6" gps with voice command. Used to replace dash mount used on older 4.3" gps. This mount easily attaches to air vent and is has no vibration. The 6" gps snaps onto the mount and enables to screen to be positioned better than with a built in gps on a newer car. Mount keeps the screen out of the glare of a bright sun. Very sturdy.

Did not hook onto he back of the vent in a 2000 Sienna to secure the GPS in place and didnt realize our Town & Country vents were vertical till after I purchased and tried to install it. Very disappointed, was looking forward to having the GPS closer to read all information. Since it was made by Garmin I thought it would be a great product.

Overall this mount is awesome but it does have some issues. For one it's made out of sturdy plastic but who knows how long it will last. Love the rubber lined clamps and support stand. Make sure to hold mount down before removing the GPS or else you will pull it out of the vent.

Very easy to mount and adjust. Safer because it is not on windshield blocking part of seeing road. Does block some of air flow from vent but it is minimal.

My holder is sufficient to hold the GPS without any contact. It does not hold it firm so you have to adjust. Otherwise, it holds the GPS good enough for you to read it while you are driving.

Tabs holding mount onto air vent broke after two weeks. Doesnt fit Accord 2003 vent very well

Once it was mounted to the vent correctly it has not fell off. It is easy to position for easy viewing and the GPS can be removed and reattached with ease.

Bought it for my van. It did not fit the vents on the van, but it did fit the vents in my wife's car. That is why I'm giving it an Average rating.
