    This worked great for awhile in my Silverado, but don't over tighten it. My Nuvi is magnetic mount and sometimes I pulled the entire vent mount out with the Nuvi mount because the magnet is so strong. When I tightened it, one of the clamps broke. Otherwise, just to remove the Nuvi from the magnet mount, two hands must be used. But it is strong enough to hold steady and not bounce around while driving. I'll buy one more, maybe.

    Basically this is a very good idea. However, the adjustable clips on top need to be longer and the unit needs to be made out of a more durable one piece plastic clip assembly. Due to the clip assembly not being made out of a solid plastic part, the top clip broke on my second use. We had to return it to Best Buy, who gracious took it back.
