Installed the 64GB SD card, get 12-13 hours of record time. Easy to use!

The Dash Cam is easy to use and makes me feel safer and don't have to prove that there are a lot of careless drivers that can be proven without a shadow of doubt if it came down to it in court. Video evidence does not lie.

This is a very good dash cam that does one thing well - it records clear video while I'm driving, to serve as evidence in case of an accident. The free downloadable software can play it back along with a map view which shows speed and direction. It is not an adventure cam, and it doesn't record audio - if that's important to you, get a GoPro instead. I didn't give it 5 stars because the "lane keeping alerts" were nothing but annoying false positives; they were so bad I turned that feature off. Also, while the PC software works OK, it hasn't been updated in 5 years, and it shows. Picking from a thousand files named something computery like IMG1234 to view is not a user friendly way to view video. A date-time slider would be a welcome improvement.

Typical Garmin love it. Plug it in and it works. It does get quite warm while its running. I havent had any issues with it shutting down from the heat. Got a great shot of a black bear running across the road

Works great it's my 5th or 6th one that i have bought.

The camera works beautifully both at day or night. I reduced the resolution setting from 1080 to 720 and found that resolution fine for use. I believe that extends the length of time time that recording can be stored on the memory card, but I am not sure that actually works.. This camera definitely does everything I expected or need.

I was actually just viewing the high quality footage on my computer as this email came in. I love it! The Speed & traffic cam alerts are a nice added touch but the video quality is excellent. I am so glad they got away from .avi format. If you don't have one, you need one!

No audio but after having owned one before I found that recording audio was not always good. Great camera and very duriable. Can not break. Has been dropped many times and still works great.

I read through many of the reviews before I picked up this unit. One of the biggest complaints was that it doesn't capture audio. I bought this as I have always had great experiences with Garmin and I didn't want it to record what I say. The video quality is great and it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Does the job. I got it on purpose with no sound due to privacy reasons. I also purchased this after an accident that I was at fault in. I still have no idea what happened other than what the police said. It does bleep to notify you of a possible collision, but I do not think it is accurate

really good quality cam including in low light conditions...the thing to think about with this is looking for alternative mounting solutions which you can transfer from car to car

This is a great dash cam with rich features with my favorite being the red light camera alert and car collision detection however sometimes it goes off with no cars even around.

I do a lot of driving and wanted a dash cam for accident proof. The following distance feature really helps you stay at a safe following distance. I only gave it a 4 star rating because when powering from a USB cable it sits at a screen asking if you want to do data transfer and it default highlights the YES so you have to arrow down and hit enter. This is a pain because you always have to do button pushing to get it to record. I have forgotten to do that and have missed entire drives. Garmin should default the NO and it should start recording automatically after 15-20 seconds if you don’t answer the question.

IT'S A GREAT CAMERA , MY USES IT IN HER CAR FOR DRIVING TO AND FROM WORK. IT IS A 35 MILE DRIVE EACH WAY TO AND FROM. SHE DRIVES MOSTLY HIGHWAY AND THIS WILL CAPTURE ANY EVENTS THAT MIGHT HAPPEN. SHE LOVES IT AS WELL. IT HAS A VERY GOOD CLEAR PHOTO AND VIDEOS. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Bought it as a gift for a professional truck driver and he has been very pleased with performance so far has a lot of features and has clear pictures at nite

I bought this camera after speaking with Best Buy staff, who gave me a summary of features,etc., on the available dash cams. I have 2 Garmin products, and know they are a reliable company. I then watched you tube videos from owners of this camera so that I'd know how to use it and what to expect. Set up was easy. The video footage is very clear. It took me a few minutes to actually figure out how to save or discard videos on my Mac.But once I figured it out, I was happy. This camera does not have sound. That may be something you want. All in all I am pleased with my purchase.

Provide all the necessary need of a Das Cam recording. The video quality is very good even at night time. The camera came with Red Light and impact alert.

Only had this a couple months but quality seems very good. Have used Gamin products for years with mostly good results. I also own the Garmin 30 as well
