      Amazing sale price at Best Buy and snagged the bundle for near half price to upgrade from the 530. Touchscreen was a huge upgrade and allows for easier map browsing on the go. Larger screen is easier to read on the go. Device connection is far faster and more reliable than the 530. HR strap is a new addition for me and way more accurate than wrist HR.

      It's a great heart monitor display unit, coupled with the Garmin HRM-dual pro. Pairing was easy and the 1030+ continuously displays heart rate as I pedal a stationary bike or pedal my MTB. The unit also easily uploads tracks from Garmin Base Camp and from Topo Fusion.

      Amazing computer with great features. See my review on the regular page for more details. This package comes with the sensors. Definitely heart rate is important to have, but if you have a Garmin watch, whoop band, or similar, you can use the heart rate from that. Speed sensor is a must for mountain biking. If you are doing XC on somewhere with a lot of speed changes or tree coverage, it can be difficult for the GPS to give an accurate reading. Speed sensor will help greatly with that. Cadence sensor is a must if you're a roadie, especially doing group rides, so you can keep a consistent pace.
