I like big watches! Fenix HR is the right size. The features are great for an outdoors person! I am a weekend warrior and I use this watch in every activity - golf, swimming, running, obstacle mud runs, hike, workout. I like the numerous features, barometer, altimeter, compass, heart rate monitor, notifications, etc. The app provides a social media platform to connect with other Garmin product users. Did i mention that this is water proof!!! I shower with it on. And, you can change the WatchFace to the numerous ones found on their website. Go get it!

An early Xmas gift from the wife. Loving it so far. Not too flashy like an iPhone watch but has enough apps I need to track my daily activities. The best part of it is the long battery life. Only have to charge once a week.

I have tried over 40 different fitness watches and none of them can hold a candle to this one . I am so happy with this when I went back and bought another one just to have on hand. Battery life on this particular one last me at least four weeks without a recharge. This Garman Fenix 3 + HR is waterproof to 100M.

I absolutely love this watch!! I am a rather small female so at first I did not like how large the watch is but after wearing it and using it I would never give it up!! I have now used it to track my CrossFit workouts (by creating my own activity app), tracked running, indoor rowing and indoor swimming! Great watch!! Being able to customize it is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a watch that covers pretty much any kind of activity this is the watch for you! I love it!! Battery lasts 2 weeks between charges.

I purchased this watch on Black Friday at an awesome price. Even though there is an updated version of this watch, this one does everything I need at a great price. Great features! Does everything extremely well.

I love this watch!! I enjoy changing the displays on my watch face in order to meet the needs of what I am doing. This watch has so many options and widgets to pick from it is a little overwhelming. If you swim, bike, run, or golf this watch has it all! I am pretty tech savvy and I'm pretty sure I haven't even scratched the surface of what this watch is capable of. The battery last about a week before needing charged, it all varies with how much you are using your GPS. This watch exceeded my expectations.

    A tank on your wrist

Being a through and through Apple iWatch enthusiast I was disappointed in the release of the series two iWatch. In my profession I am surrounded by hazards that I can easily damage the (in my opinion) delicate iWatch. I wanted something that can keep up with my daily exercise routine as well as withstand my harsh working environment. After week of reading reviews I bought this Fenix 3. Though I missed a few of Apple's iWatch features such as Apple Pay and touch screen capabilities, this watch feels like a tank on my wrist. I feel it can take a beating before it will miss-function. In my opinion this watch is durable and worth the money.

This is my first Garmin wearable and I must say it tremendously better than most of its competitors, I have had the wath for ovER a monto now. The wrist HR feature is the most accurate I've seen and the features for outdoor exercise and sports are great. The apps on the IQ connect are good, but wish there were more exercise apps when using for indoor exercise: elliptical training or high intensity xfit workouts. Unfortunately, the wrist HR monitor is a bit inaccurate with high intensity training due to movements and sweat, so if you are going to use the watch also for those type training workouts I would recommend buying the HRM bundle with the chest strap...Also I wish there was an internal storage for downloading music onto the watch...Other than those things it's an excellent watch, hopefully Garmin will continue to provide updates which cover some of these issues.

The gps is very accurate. The heart rate is helpful. The layout of connect is easy to understand. I like that it connects with my computer and watch. I look forward to testing the base camp feature.

This watch is great at the $299.99 clearance price. It has Sapphire, which is an upcharge on the Fenix 5. I would recommend an external heart rate monitor to accurately track fitness activities.

This is a watch for ppl who truly exercise and seek adventure. I have utilized this watch on 30 mile hikes, mini-marathons, long distance road biking, daily swimming, indoor and outdoor runs. I've even had the chance to use the SUP tracker. I ahve dove 20 meters at lake and the ocean with no problems. The stop watch was helpful for tracking my time on air. The interface is a bit slow to use due to the physical buttons, no touch screen. It's not difficult to get use to and favorites can be set to specific buttons. Battery life is good as I average 3 days of heavy use before charging but I do not let my battery go below 25%. The desktop and phone software is impressive. The number of categories of data is almost overwhelming but after a few uses it becomes intuitive. I appreciate the GPS tracking data to help map out hikes or mountain bike rides through areas of the Desert far from civilation. It's helpful to retrace a good trip. It does have music control and notifications but I do not use those features, unnecessary distraction. The screens are very configurable with an infinite number of watch faces are a nice touch. The band wore out after 2 1/2 years of heavy use. To be expexted. OEM replacement bands are not cheap but worth the money. Do not buy the aftermarket bands, they will break early. Garmin makes a truly sport designed activity tracking watch that is durable and comfortable. I will keep this watch for as long as it lasts.

Awesome watch, light years better than my Android (Moto 360/369 Sport) watches that I had. Battery life is awesome. Love not having a touch screen. Buttons are better for a watch. It has all the apps and notifications that I need. The few things that I had on my Moto that this doesn't have, I never used anyways. It's a watch/extension of my phone I don't need it to be my smartphone. (Nor want it to be.) I should have gone Garmin to begin with.

I love this watch. I replaced it from a basic sports watch. So many apps to choose from besides the pre-loaded apps. Tracks not only the workout I am performing but it calculates what I do on a daily basis including my sleep. I am blow away by how many features and options I am still finding on the watch. I use it for outdoors as well. GPS has been flawless.
