The watch is a well done product with a mature software as now. The application on my Android phone is working great as well as the Web access to data and statistics. I mainly use it while running, biking and hiking. Associated with the additional hear monitoring band for more information, it will give you excellente details of information on the way you run by example. GPS will track your race as well for more accuracy. The only feature I would love to see one day is the automatic detection of the activity but this is a nice to have and not a show stopper. It took me time to decide to spend so much money but I have clearly no regret.

My boyfriend loves this watch. I got it as a gift, Christmas 2016, and he can't stop talking about it. He proudly shows it off and if anyone asks about it he tells them how cool he thinks it is. It does so many unnecessary things, IN A GOOD WAY, it keeps him busy. He has an iphone and it works and connects perfectly. There is an app and a site where you can download different screen faces. Though it is sapphire glass i bought an IQ shield screen protector for it anyway and it fits well.
This watch is fun and definitely great for a guy who likes big watches and tech.
He welds and the watch holds up. It's very durable.

This watch does everything. Only issues I had with it are occasionally the watch won’t sync up with my phone, but a quick reset of my phone has fixed it every time, so obviously not an issue with the watch. The garmin app is very helpful also and there are a ton of watch faces and widgets to make the watch exactly how you want it

Excellent and durable watch for marathon and ultra marathon runners. I do both and this watch does everything with long battery life. Also, a stylish watch to wear at work.

I have used numerous watches like the Samsung gear fits to fitbits to now this. Though it's not a touchscreen which took me sometime to get used to I like the way you can set the screen to how you would find it useful. To be honest the app to track activity is ok. But I liked the Fitbit way more. I found the Fitbit to be more interactive on keeping your HR gym routine and diet in check. Other than that the watch is awesome. Looks elegant and goes with any occasion if you change the bands. Highly recommend it. The gps works accurately. The HR would be a lot more accurate with the chest strap.

I love my watch. The question is what the watch doesn't do!? I like the style and durablity of it. The battery life is awesome. I can go a couple of weeks between charges. I am a big boned person and I have had issues with a watch fitting my wrist. This one was no problem. Thinly couple things I wish were a little better was the brightness of the watch face. It's sometimes hard to see it darker rooms. I also wish it would let me text, answer calls and download and play music. But if you have to pick your battles. I sure love the features it offers on the watch.

I'll keep it simple......If you want EVERYTHING and I do mean everything on your wrist, THIS watch is it. Usual Garmin excellent ABC tech.. With fitness tracker info out the wazoo. You name it, it tracks it. All the smart watch features. Upload able watch faces and widgets. GPS tracking is perfect. Weather, Alarms, etc. This watch is LOADED !! It may be expensive, but you get what you pay for and with the F3HR, you will not be disappointed. Great total reviews on Youtube. Look for (Rizoknows). Only CON, would be it's kinda heavy and large, but I got used to it.

This Garmin fits every expectation that we were looking for! My husband uses this for every athletic activity he does, including swimming! To be able to track your activity and not have to wear a heart monitor strap has been such a wonderful convenience! The face is very easy to read no matter what lighting you're in and very user-friendly. Additionally, the battery has an excellent lifespan! If you're doubting whether you should spend the extra $100 or $200 on this watch, we definitely recommend it! You will not be disappointed!

The Fenix 3 got tons of features. The glass is sapphire too. Only issue I had was the swim log wasn't accurate and it's a bit too big and heavy for me.

I've had a few "trackers", but they never really worked out for me...primary need(s) were heart rate tracking and water-proof (I'm disabled so spend the majority of "work-out" time in a pool).
In all honesty, the Fenix is overkill for ME; however, the ability to change faces, track HR/steps/strokes works as well as reviews claim.
Not only that, I've now got another "fashionable" timepiece and in the unlikely event I get lost in the woods, I'll be able to quickly find my way home - all while avoiding bad weather! :)

BEST WATCH I HAVE EVER OWNED

As I mentioned before, this is by far the best watch that I have ever owned. I served 14 great years in the army and depended deeply on my watches. I have owned Classic Casio’s, G-Shock, Pathfinder, SUUNTO, and Freestyle. I recently received this watch as my anniversary gift and I have been absorbed in it every day. Yes you can get an app for a cell phone but there is nothing like leaving your phone in your pocket and doing it all on your wrist, especially when working out. 20 thumbs up for this watch, cannot say it enough I LOVE THIS WATCH.

This is a great watch. It is very Garmin in design, which is not a bad thing...it's actually great for professionals. Not super user friendly or easy compared to some other mainstream brands that operate with android.

If u like big watches, u will love this. Has a big screen, lot of activity modes, connects seamlessly with the phone, excellent battery life of 5-6 days. The phone app "connect" is quite detailed. The watch glass is scratch resistant. No touchscreen so no chance of activating something unintentionally. For me a big plus is the battery life.

Couldn't be well pleased with a long lasting battery and almost accurate fitness-smart watch. A little bit pricey though.
