So many options! Perfect for any and all athletes! The only downside is the battery does not seem to last as long as claimed.

Does everything you could want from a sport watch. Looks super clean. Functions great and is built tough.

This watch is pricey but I don't think there's another fitness watch out there that has all that this watch has. If you're looking for just a smartwatch, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for a fitness watch that also has some smart functions, and you have the cash, give this a try.

I had a Fenix 3 which I loved. Moving to the Fenix 5 was a no brainer. The addition of the heart rate monitor and other improvements just makes it that much better. I don't need a smart watch. Ineed what the Fenix is. An outstanding fitness tracker and a great passive notification device.

This watch has been great since day one. I know it can be big for some with small wrist and the 5x was too big but the 5 was great. Awesome features and really like the battery life as well. Definitely glad I made the purchase while high it was worth it.

Over all I love the fénix 5. I had a fénix 3 before and it lasted forever. It still works just fine I just wanted an upgrade. My only issue with the fénix 5 is the HR monitor. It’s very inaccurate especially when lifting weights. Other then that it’s a good watch. A little pricey.

Love this watch! I was in the market for an activity tracker, but wanted the smartwatch look to dress up or down as needed. The 5x looks great in all scenarios. Great feature set for all sorts of activities or sports, such as running, walking, golf, rowing. GPS feature to track activities is great and accurate. Smartphone notifications are very handy. Customize-able and downloadable watch faces make for a fun change-up. Interchange-able bands allow for better matching to attire. The bands are easy to remove and clean. The watch is comfortable on the wrist. Downloadable apps gives the user increased information, such as air quality. Overall, this is an awesome watch, that is rugged, durable, and built solid. If you can deal with shelling out $600 for a smartwatch...this is the one to get!

This watch does it all. Great battery life, the display is easy to read even in sunlight. Great activity tracking. Very light, I often don’t even realize I still have it on. I am using it to train for my first triathlon

Purchased this watch to replace a non GPS watch I started out with. So far this watch has been great!! Excellent battery, and love that I don't have to flip my wrist up to get the screen to turn on.

    Just right (vs Fenix 3)!

I was looking for two things: A smaller Garmin than my current Fenix 3 (it's so large that I haven't worn it except during exersize), and a built-in heart rate monitor (when I am on travel I keep forgetting to put the chest strap in the suitcase!). I started with the Fenix 5s, but at my age the screen was too small to read well. So I exchanged for the Fenix 5. I'm totally satisfied. It is it smaller than the Fenix 3 enough where I feel comfortable wearing it 24 hours a day (but, yes - it's still a Garmin watch and not real thin), and the HRM works very well. Happy camper!

Great replacement for Garmin FR 235

I've had my Garmin FR 235 for about 10 months and it's been a definite upgrade from my previous GPS watch. When the Fenix 5 however went on sale I snagged the opportunity to upgrade and boy what an upgrade! Though it's slightly heavier than the FR 235 after a few days of wearing it I hardly notice the weight difference. The ability to sync with both bluetooth and ANT+ HR monitors has also made my HR monitor more useful. Overall quite happy with this purchase!

This is just a all round great watch! The only thing I wish - since it has a heart rate monitor - it had a ECG reader... From what I understand the Fenix 6 will!
