I frequent the outdoors quite regularly and was doing some research on a few of the Garmin smartwatches, I was a little skeptical about the 1 review stating the blue back lighting issue. From what I can tell, there is a slight blue hue to it, but after playing around with the settings and changing the percentage of the backlight going through the screen I was able to get it to not show up as much. The set up process was a little hard to maneuver through, but if you're dropping $700+ on a smartwatch, I would hope you have done your research and watched a couple of Youtube videos on how to set up the device. I hope that they incorporate Apple Music onto the device in the near future however. Garmin, if you are reading this - bring on the Apple Music!!
Overall, solid device, haven't really gotten to play around with the device as much other than set it up, pair up a few bluetooth devices and update the device. I will have my first workout session tomorrow and run to see how it fares with my workouts.

Amazing watch, amazing battery, esp. if you are coming from an Apple. Being in Florida, and on the water alot, knowing that this watch can take it makes it worth the price. Plus the GPS is really good.. all 3 of them.

The Fenix 6 Pro is an excellent Fitness piece. Heart rate is accurate, battery life is among the best in class. Fitness metrics are too numerous to comment on. The 47 mm piece is just the right size for my wrist. It a little pricey, but worth it.

Great fitness watch. Many options available and watch is very customizable. Battery life is excellent. Battery last me about 14 days when used in normal mode. GPS will shorten battery life of course.

I've been using this for about a week now and I love it. It's larger than the Fitbit Versa 2 I had but I like the extra things this one does over the Fitbit like the GPS and more detailed tracking. The Fitbit Versa 2 dropped the swimming laps display for some reason. I've ran, swam, biked and worked out with the Garmin watch and have no complaints so far. I have connected bluetooth headphones to it and loaded it with music using Spotify. Love it.

So I bought this for a more detailed experience it comes to my running stats and such. I was user of another smart watch but charging it everyday was very frustrating and at times I felt like I couldn’t track my run if I forgot to charge before. This watch has everything I need and more. Awesome maps, the stats after my runs that let me know how productive of a session it was or just an estimation of my vo2 max was awesome. Couldn’t recommend more

There's not match to say about this smartwatch. The Garmin specs is death on. The battery life is good for 14 to 17 days for me without using the navigation. And its very comfortable

Excellent battery life. Tracks any and all metrics I have an interest in as an endurance athlete. It also looks great as a regular watch as well for everyday use.

Love my Garmin Watch. This is the 2nd product I've had from Garmin. Overkill for most applications but I want that. Unbelievable battery life. It's not a smartwatch; I've had those. Most are a 2nd screen for what's going on in your phone. This is a fitness watch that receives notifications. They are simple and not obtrusive to what I'm doing. You can leave your phone behind for days. Almost all hardware (barometer, etc.) is on the watch so it doesn't need your phone to provide certain information.

Good watch not worth the money for me

Loved the watch. Used it backpacking,
running, weightlifting and cycling. I like the garmin app for fitness tracking. Battery lasted for quite awhile considering what it can do. Seemed like the battery wasnt holding a charge as well about 18 months in so I adjusted the power settings and it was fine for me.
Negatives
It had a lot of features I didn't need/use. So not sure it was worth the extra money for me.
Gps/maps while hiking is hard to use on such a small screen. You might be better off with a hand held GPS if you like hiking/backpacking.
Was large on my wrist but I wanted the bigger screen. Kind of heavy compared to my last watch.
Only gave it 3 stars because it stopped reading hr data about 2 years in. For 700 I just think it should last longer than 2 years. Luckily I had bought the protection plan so it was covered. Best buy was great and easy to work with for replacement.

I bought the watch for my wife. She loves it! She replaced her Apple Watch with a high end Fitbit to increase the battery life. Now this watch gives her better smart watch functionalities without sacrificing battery life. As a bonus, she is complemented on her watch all the time as well.

Got this for my husband for his birthday. It is the best watch he has ever owned. He wanted it mainly for his multiple day backpacking trips. The functionality of the watch is more than he hoped for. It has so many options and he is still learning new things 4 months later! It was very expensive but you get what you pay for!

This Garmin has been a huge step up in user interface. Battler life is good, ability to control workouts is better. Still have to deep dive the function controls for Bluetooth connectivity, syncing and connectivity is intermittent sometimes. Overall this a solid performer in so many areas; fitness, outdoors, work, etc.

Great for running, hiking, MTB, and other outdoorsy stuff. Favorite feature is independent music storage. I can leave my phone at home when I go for runs and still listen to music. I also love all the data fields on the main screen and the great battery life.

Watch is absolutely awesome. I started hiking a bit more seriously and my Apple Watch wasn’t doing the job. The watch never fails. A bit of a learning curve going from one platform to another but it definitely exceeded my expectations.

I am a Garmin fan and have had several Garmin watches throughout recent years. This one is up to Garmin standards 100%, but when I purchased it I didn't realize that it didn't have maps or any kind of navigation features. Otherwise, this watch is very rugged and even stylish. It looks good on a female small wrist as well, so, women - do not hesitate to use this watch, it sits very comfortably and the big display is a big advantage when you are on a hike. Also, this watch is not heavy as it may seem.
The only con I can mention is the huge bezel. Beware that the actual active screen and data on it has a much less radius than it looks like - another reason not to go for the Fenix S version.

This a great sports watch that has smarts. Besides doing almost any thing related to outdoor activities, it also will give you alerts for texts, emails, and phone calls. It has widgets that let you check the weather and your rate without having to dig though menus.

I've been using Garmin watches for the past 6 years and I haven't been able to find a single complaint about them. This is NOT a smart watch for those looking for "Apple Watch-esque" functionality. It is a multisport watch with limited, yet progressing, smart functionality. Understand its purpose and its limitations. Other than that, it's the perfect multi-sport tool.

Best fitness/smart watch. I highly recommend over a smart watch.
